Reading the latest #FREEZE64 is going to be much more interesting than looking out the window on this train (that’s restricted to about 30 mph). Say, @freeze64.bsky.social, why is DARTH VADER getting a mention in the issue-number box?

Thanks to @museumofcomputing.bsky.social for showing me Teletext on the BBC Micro at #RetroFest2026. Here's the souvenir photo from my "modern" Apple QuickTake made in 1995 ;)

Thanks to @computinghistory.org.uk for bringing BBC Domesday Discs to @shortcircuit.org.uk's retrofest.uk. There's nothing like experiencing this pathbreaking project from the 80s in its original format. Look at the size of that LaserDisc! 💿

It's 2024. Life is different, and @b3ta.com 📧 929 has an idea. * SAY I'M YOUR NO 1 - a quiz that uses all the UK no 1s and looks up how many views they've had on youtube and you have to guess which one has better or crapper numbers. Better late than never 🎉 numberones.martinburch.com

@nomadness.bsky.social i've seen a note about your adventures from the early 90s! Modems for Dummies (which has great taglines for my bot @taglines.martinburch.com) says I can find you on GEnie 🧞Were you on many online services or was that one your fave?

On iOS/iPhone, translation is built-in, just select the text and tap Translate. I think this is my preferred method, use the client whenever possible and do not force calls to a single translation API provider
