Blinded Tangled by sweet in their own whispers. loathing. tw: strangle, manipulation (implied) #oc #ocsky #originalcharacters #glenwindwill

Small illustration o my original characters, Glen Windwill and Garth.

Glen is a young trans boy, with elf ears and short wavy hair. Garth is a young man with blond and short wavy hair.

Garth is hugging Glen from behind, holding him with one hand on his side. The other hand is covering the boy eyes. Garth face near Glen right ear, like he’s whispering something. Glen has his head leaned to Garth left shoulder, an happy smile in his face. One hand is reaching Garth’s arm that surround Glen. The other is between Garth’s hair.

Another small illustration of my original characters Glen and Garth.

They’re both older, then the first picture, Glen are wearing a red lipstick now.

Garth and Glen are entwined in a dangerous hug. Both reaching the neck of the other, with the intention of strangle it. The free hand of Glen is grabbing Garth hair. While Garth free hand is surrounding Glen. Wind is twirling around them.

She tried refusing the call but got catapulted to the 4th anyway #ffxiv #ireneposting

My WoL Irene in her Evercold glam, pouting, thinking about Shale and her most prominent features.

Irene talking with Idris, who's the Azem shard who can travel freely through the portal. He's saying "Y'shtola assures that she'll take good care of Shale while you're away. I'm only the messenger here." to which she responds "Yeah, I bet she'll find a way to get her pregnant. Tell her to take pictures at least."

discord casually admitting they know that nobody wanted the age verification implemented and trying to be funny about it is seriously something that the pr team should reflect on and really study when they lose a lot of nitro subs in this next week

Also, try reading things analitically and take note of why a panel has a certain shape or point of view, where the artist wants you to look first and why (again, a bit generic, but it's a wide topic I could get very in depth if unleashed)

110

Dera @martidac.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I feel it comes with experience. The more you read and experiment with the language, the easier you find what works best for you. I know it sounds generic, but it's true lol. I don't think you can get better if your references are only movies/games/tv shows, they're different medium visually.

I had a really fun time at the new Artist Alley event in Milan (crazy succesfull for a first edition, probably our future italian dokomi), also sad that we can't find a way to bring the same energy into comics spaces anymore.

Edit of the photo of Pope Leo XIV receiving a massive green orb, hastily photoshopped to replace him with Archbishop Thordan VII from Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, and the orb with an eye of Nidhogg

My only contribution to current comics discourse (at 2 am) is as someone who draws both original and fan material, it was indulging and drawing fan comics that made me learn to love the medium again after publishing destroyed my morale

People will draw their little homemade zines, and table and the smallest fair you can think of and that makes me so incredibly happy that I can forgive videogame megacorp for feeding me mid, boring short stories about npcs I project way too much into.

I had the mild discomforting experience of not liking the thing everyone is crazy about rn (the one that was fabricated in a lab to appeal to me specifically). Then I closed bluesky and went out and touched some grass and I got over it

🌘VOIDCALL🌒, part 1 (43 pages) is up on Patreon in full for patrons $5 & above. Ever since her days as a student, Y'shtola finds her gaze drawn to a tragic pattern. (Thancred/Y'shtola) While not explicit, this work is intended for mature audiences only. www.patreon.com/theyoungdoyl...

The cover for Voidcall. Y'shtola stares through a window made by her fingers.

A comic set sometime between 1.0 and ARR.
Y'shtola: Do... do you trust Thancred?
Y'shtola: Do you...
Y'shtola: ... feel safe with him?

Minfilia, whose hand had been upon Y'shtola's, gently encouraging, draws away.

A comic set something during 1.0 and ARR.
Minfilia, hand drawn to her chest: Why...

-the scene segues to Ryne circa Shadowbringers, still going by the name Minfilia.
Minfilia: ...why wouldn't I?
Y'shtola gazes down, expression as tired as it is unreadable.
