Hey artists, here's a quick n dirty thread about how to lay out your table at conventions. I used to be in charge of floor planning and merchandising when I worked in retail and it's all based on the same idea - guiding the customer's eye. (originally posted this thread on Twitter in 2019!) 🧵 1/11

Japan inspired fix demon with a little lantern. The idea was to work with a limited palet of colors.

White haired man is taking off black fox mask. He's wearing black kimono and holding a lantern on a long stick. Both his skin and the background are blood red. He's looking straight at the viewer with a pale white eye.

It's always a fun challenge to figure out new characters' design based just on description. Here's my attempt for Seinen and Kogata by ookamiamarok.bsky.social :)

Blue haired man is conjuring a horse shaped flame to impress his girlfriend. She has red eyes and curly hard, and she's looking up at the fire.

A little blast from the past, Slayers edition. As usual, Lina blew up some village trying to save it and the residents weren't pleased about it. #Slayers #LinaInverse #Gourry #Zelgadis #Amelia

Zelgadis, Amelia and Gourry ran in panic to escape enraged villagers. Lina Inverse still quarrels with their pursuers despite being carried by Gourry.

The lighthouse keeper complained that his life got boring. The curious sea serpent decided to make it more exciting again.

Gigantic, curious sea serpent is checking out the lighthouse on the cliff.

Lan sect rule number 10341: "Flying after drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited". Since Lan's don't drink at all, guess who's the reason it was added. #WangXian #MDZS

Wei Ying is laughing while being carried by Lan Zhan. Both are flying on sword Bichen.

I made this illustration for The Last Unicorn some time ago and I still like it so I've decided to post this little blast from the past. It's one of my favourite animated movies, with beautiful story and amazing music, definitely worth watching.

The Last Unicorn illustration with the Unicorn standing in front of a forest with flames behind it and a silhouette of the Red Bull in the water beneath.
