Saw like 2 youtubers now going off about some renown books they read and making videos about it, and I think it is very fucking funny that the next potential influencer trend might be to tell everyone to read classic literature NOW

I will take care of it as there is nothing else I can do but its such a bad timing, while im sick, so close to my birthday and adding so many new worries on top of my current ones that if November comes around to bring in more bullshit I might genuinely start screaming or just end it

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 02/10/2026

Instead of getting to focus in work and catch up on my finances this month, I now have to petsit a young cat my family suddenly brought home (for ME to take care of obviously because im the cat guy), despite our less than ideal situation to have another animal at home I am starting to get so tired

Something doesnt feel quite right about these companies who produce merch starting to offer on the house stores to artists, to the the point they even reach out to them, but I cant put my finger on it

030

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 01/10/2026

been going through business cards and I implore artists (everyone in general) to stop using qr codes because half of them straight up did not work 😭

030

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

art is about: not creating stuff in an attempt to reach to others, but being so confident and genuine in what you create, that you know it will reach those who it needs to reach. What you create honestly is what matters, the rest will follow. Art already is a shared endeavor by nature

061

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

But I'm leaving out a lot of context and I don't want the idea to be "Art is about reaching others" and nothing else. When I created that art, I was being entirely self-indulgent, and portraying my own beliefs unashamedly, not caring if it would be unpopular or ignored. And I think THAT is what+

151

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

I was told recently by someone that one of my arts had impacted the way they felt about some things and it was a neat reminder that truly this is what all is about

Theres been a days long protest against eviction and uncontrolled rent prices, and the government ismt doing proper jackshit about it

110

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

I was joking but actually i got super sick after returning so Im still going through the worst of it

001

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

lowkey a bit dissapointed because i thought it was original work not fanart

020

Mars @marstectomy.eurosky.social · 30/09/2026

Bought a lil nsfw zine because the art was soooo banger and then when I looked at it closer, saw it was Fire Emblem stuff, like ooook 😭
