🌙♤~Tuomas~♤🌙 @marssomnia.bsky.social · 24/05/2025

🌌 I love Nightwish guys Tldr: Holy shit if you wanna show new Nightwish fans Ghost Love Score for the love of god please show them a version that has the choir mixed in equivalent to the singer. Head in hands HKSHDKS

Whichever FUCK did the mixing for the Wacken version of GLS I'm never forgiving you
I love Floor and all but oh my fucking god (MARKO THIS WAS YOUR IDEA) why the FUCK would you ever turn down the choir in the FUCKING MIXING oh my GODDDDDDDUHHHHH
"Oh we got a new singer and she's amazi-"
THE CHOIR IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF GHOST. FUCKING. LOVE. SCORE. WHY WOULD YOU EVER LOWER HOW LOUD IT IS. IN THE. FUCKING. MIX ?!?!?!?!!,
THE OUTRO. FOR THE LAST TWO MINUTES OF THE SONG. IS LITERALLY THE CHOIR JUST REPEATING "MY FALL WILL BE FOR YOU, MY LOVE WILL BE IN YOU" AND YOU CAN BARELY FUCKING HE A R R R R RI I T T T T T TT MARKOOOOOOO I'M KILLING YOU FOR THIN KIN G THAT WAS A GOOD IDEAAAAAAA
Anyways. I love GLS
Lol
Also I hate that specifically the Wacken version of GLS is shown to new fans of Nightwish because it severely muted a core part of the song.
IF YOU WANNA SHOW A LIVE VERSION OF THE SONG. WITH THE FULL EXPERIENCE. GO LISTEN TO THE END OF AN ERA VERSION ... THAT'S MILES BETTER MIXING-WISE FOR GLS SPECIFICALLY
(Showtime, Storytime is a wonderful live album but aughghghg. Vehicle of Spirit's version of GLS also falls into this same issue and it drives me MAD.)

{ ✨️ Art } I love finding out a coincidence with my headmates oops 💀 Loop and Siffrin are sourced from the same game (In Stars and Time), but we're currently rping an AU version of Tuomas in which his world is in a time loop :3 [ #plural | #pluralsky | #fictive | #art | #dragon | #cat | #isat ]
