Someone recommended to me to just "explore" while drawing "nothing in particular" but i will be honest this is probably the hardest thing ive done while drawing i just have to have an image in mind to work towards or i am paralyzed to even place a single stroke (warning for bright flashing colors)

I am not sure if it is even advisable to do some more painterly works in between if my end goal are more stylized possibly monochrome drawings with more focus on lines, but most times I try to use color and real photos as reference I appear to track back to this approach

started and discarded 5 different fanarts last few weeks and fell back drawing hands to calm down a bit On one hand I like doing fanart because it keeps me drawing and supplies ideas, but at the same time I feel pressured that the drawing has to be at a decent standard that I cant always deliver
