‘Priestess of the Rose’ oil on canvas 2026 Sending lots of love and light:) ✨💛

An abstract painting in cool blues and greens with touches of rose and violet. Two gentle, face-like forms appear to meet and support one another within a flowing, botanical field. The overall feeling is tender, calm, and heart-centered, suggesting care, intimacy, and quiet devotion.

Hello Bluesky! Happiest Friday to everyone💛 I haven’t had much time to create since the beginning of the school year, but I did at a bit more to this one and I started a new one last weekend, so hopefully I can add to it this weekend. 💛💛💛 #trees #oilpainting #healing #art #blueskyartists #peace

‘The Language of Trees’ #oiloncanvas in progress…trees have always felt like friends to me. I’m wondering if that’s why I always paint them? When I was small I used to walk all over our property with my stuffed rabbit “Bunny” and we would visit all the trees together✨ #process #memories #tree #art

My one and only attempt at a self-portrait 2020. I admire all the artists who paint people! Maybe one day I will be brave 💪! I haven’t kept up on appreciating all of you who have shared my art. I want you to know I appreciate all the kind comments and reposts. 💛 #blueskyart #art #community #create

Playing with acrylics and Posca markers. I’ve realized a thing about my art process and I’m wondering if you feel this way too? I love lines and working fast and not thinking too much about what I’m doing and I think this keeps me authentic but maybe this keeps me from leveling up? #blueskyart

‘Where the Light Rests’ 36”x36” #oiloncanvas I was never afraid of the dark walking on our property. The darkness felt safe, quiet and magical. ✨ This could also be daytime 🤔 I softened the clouds this morning and I think it is finished now. 💛 #forestart #art #believe #create #magic #peace #tree

Sometimes as I’m painting, the name of the piece comes to me. I never know until it starts to show itself. This is what I thought as I worked on this one today. ‘Don’t give up. I am here.” I know it is not a tree title, but trees are strong with deep roots, and so must we be. #blueskyart #womensart

‘Underwater Garden’ oil on canvas. This is one of my personal favorites…It’s been in my bedroom since I started it last summer and I’ve spent most nights studying it as I fall asleep. I’ve wanted to fix a couple spots and feel that I can let it be now💛 #lucidexpressionism #art #flowers #womensart

Good morning #bluesky ! ‘Prism Forest’ 2025 after some more hours of work. I just felt like it wasn’t finished before and the colors were too blocked out. I will probably go back in and add more light after this layer dries. ✨ #stunday #art #create #light #forest #trees #practice #findyourstyle

Blue and green foliage flows toward the light. Soft blues and purples in the sky.

‘Moon Rests in Branches’ 2018 acrylic on canvas and ‘Moon on Fire 2025’ oil on canvas. Can you see the growth? Curious about your thoughts. Maybe I just feel the growth:) I don’t think I felt like an artist in 2018 and now I do; maybe it is just my confidence that has changed. #art #growth #practice

Good morning Bluesky☀️:) This is one of my earliest paintings from 2018. ‘Moon Rests in Branches’ I was still using acrylics exclusively because oils were a mystery to me. I realized that it is similar to my recent oil painting…It’s pretty exciting to see the progress I’ve made!🤸✨ #art #trees #create

‘Joie de Vivre’ 2023 #acryliconcanvas Happy Friday Bluesky #community! Sometimes I like to do quick acrylic weirdness in between bigger paintings. It helps me feel freedom with whatever emerges. ‘The Myrtlewood Tree’ 2023 #oiloncanvas . We used to play for hours in the branches of an old myrtle wood tree down by the creek house. It had so many branches that you could walk around inside it like a big space ship! We called it the Space Tree. #art #expressionism #tree #abstractlandscape

From 3 years old until I went to college at 18 we lived in a barn house in Oregon. My dad was a hippie and did his best to keep us away from television, so we spent hours outdoors exploring and playing in nature✨🍃 I try to capture those feelings in color in my paintings. This was our house:) #art
