Considering reading the books I wrote on stream. Could be fun. Might even have TwoFaced tag along and help.

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

After receiving multiple pieces of the same advice, I'm going to cancel today's stream. I'll be taking a step back to review my old streams and other's content to try to reevaluate the kind of streamer I want to be. Thank you for your patience.

I have heard everyone's feedback and realized I'm creating an uncozy environment in my streams. I am looking into ways to improve. If there are any topics you'd prefer hearing me talk about, please feel free to let me know. I hope you're all doing well and I will try to improve for this community.

Unless TikTok stops fighting me, shorts there will be on hold for a while. The check keeps having an error so I can't seem to upload any videos...

Updated Paper Mario thumbnails as well!

Decided to redo my Metroid: Zero Mission thumbnails too. This is the game that made me decide to only play things I actually feel passionate. Sorry to my husband. I know he loves this game, but it just isn't for me.

Needed something chill to do so I remade my old FireRed playthrough thumbnails.

I may have lost my job during the stream yesterday, but I don't want to give up on streaming. So look forward to next Sunday, where we'll keep streaming some cozy games. :)

What a stressful day! I had to factory reset my computer due to some problems. I think I've got everything back in time for tomorrow's stream. I really hope I'm right...

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Remade my first LPs thumbnails. I really do like these custom ones a lot more!

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

No special stream any time soon, guys. I got scammed by an artist and I'm trying to get my money back. From now on, until I learn to trust again, I think I'll be doing things myself.

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

7/20/26 I am officially a Twitch affiliate! Small steps I suppose. Still, I'm so happy to see my hard work paying off!

010

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Look how nice these updated thumbnails turned out! I'm really proud of how it looks, even if I ended up not shading it.

020

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Did some art for thumbnails so I can customize them more from now on. Hopefully that works in my favor! Special thanks to my friend durotos for helping with the lineart in the Touhou Mystia's Izakaya pic!

Sorry for cutting the stream early. Tech issues galore. OBS crashed. And then I straight up glitched an option out of Cozy Caravan... We'll try again next week. Sorry for the trouble.

What do I do in my spare time? Self-publish books, actually! I'd love it if you all could check them out! www.amazon.com/stores/Alexi...

Really excited to play a little Cozy Caravan on Sunday with you guys! I hope to eventually use my own art for all my thumbnails, but that's still a big WIP.

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

To keep myself from burning out, we'll be changing things up this Sunday! A little of one game, a little of another. Let's stay cozy together!

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

I need to stop looking at statistics and gauging my worth based on them. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but sometimes it's hard.

000

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Looking forward to streaming with you next Sunday!

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Today's stream was really, really fun! I had a blast seeing everyone there. After next week's stream, if we keep doing this well, I can actually become an affiliate. Still feels a bit like a dream. ;u; See you guys next Sunday for my next stream?

I want to hear everyone's opinion. Are PNGtubers considered VTubers in your opinion? Why or why not?

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Friendly reminder that I'll be streaming today (Sunday 7/12) at 4PM Central. Hope to see you there!

So I may not ever be able to monetize karaoke streams, but at least I had fun today and was brave enough to go past my comfort zone. I'll count that as a win!

So it turns out the secret to having a quiet controller is pressing the buttons quietly. Who would have figured? I also worked up the courage to sing on a test stream. A little scared to listen back to it. lol

Guess I'll slowly be learning how the YouTube and TikTok algorithms work. Only way to figure out what shorts do well and all. Somehow I feel stupid that I didn't think short, memeable moments beat honest, heartfelt stories when building my audience. Oh, well. Hopefully I'm getting it right now.

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

The YouTube algorithm is a strange, magnificent beast, one I may never understand. One of my videos got more views than I expected (almost 2k) but the others barely got any attention at all. I'm not sure why...

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

One of my shorts did way better than I ever could have imagined. Definitely convinced me to commit to making shorts for my TikTok and YouTube. www.youtube.com/shorts/4dLe3...

Come join me on Sunday for my second stream at MarshmallowIchi on Twitch! I'd love to see you there!

011

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Every journey starts with a single step... or an extremely belated one in my case. First stream in four years went way better than expected and has me excited for future streams. Can't promise any kind of consistency, but I hope you join me on this journey nonetheless.

010

MarshmallowIchi @marshmallowichi.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Stream stats for the first stream in four years. I'm incredibly pleased with how it went and am already thinking of how I can improve. If I keep this up, maybe the path to affiliate won't be so hard after all.

Really excited about playing Touhou Mystia's Izakaya this Sunday on Stream so I doodled my avatar in Mystia's work clothes. Color version coming eventually?

A little doodle of my PNGTuber sona playing on a Switch... not sure if it looks like a Switch, but oh well. lol. Hopefully coloring this eventually.

Set up a stream overlay and a YouTube thumbnail with the help of canva today! it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Thank God for templates!

Feeling cute in my new fairy kei outfit. Thought I'd share.

Did some tests with OBS today. Steam can run all the games I want. Which is exciting! Except for one... FFXIV seems to be a no-go which is a shame because glamour is the ultimate endgame... But considering it made my computer turn full screen colors, perhaps not streaming that is for the best...

Rebranding to the PNGTuber MarshmallowIchi and returning to that after four years of silence. Apologies to anyone who thought they would be following a VTuber.
