I've reached the point in job-application hell where I made the body of my cover letter a bulleted listed, put the key words in bold, & sent it out. It's easier to read, easier to pick out the important bits, & cuts the tedious fluff. Standard format wasn't getting me anywhere, so it's worth a shot

This may seem like a silly question but when you say "no fey/fairies" do you mean in general or just in fantasy/romance settings? I have fey in my book, but it's a MG horror novel and the fey are the monsters. It's less Tinkerbell and more Eldritch horror with an illusion of a pretty face...and bugs
