Timelines Starline takes that idea, but since he no longer has a surge, does the same to Kit and unleashes it upon the team, which surge has to come to terms with (abandoning [inadvertantly] and forgetting about Kit, and then admitting that she failed him)

Marshall the Cat @marshallthecat.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

That is actually addressed in a later arc, it basically explains what happened to him, in that Starline wasn’t defeated by Eggman, but goes into hiding and finding out through nebulous, in that he (nebulous) cast off the kit to his Surge so he could solely focus on perfecting Metal Surge, so this-

Power to put it behind her & move on, to find peace with herself & begin to feel vulnerable. To cry, to be scared, to be concerned about what her future holds. She doesn’t get retconned, she becomes a deeper character than she already was, and that’s what I want people to see her as in fractured 🫶

To be loved. Then as the team expands, she gains new avenues to explore her new personality. Acting as a big sister to Opal, being able to par combat skills with Eon, and even relate on an emotional level with Zoe. She still finds her past under Starline haunting her, but she slowly finds the-

Going forward, she has her whole past and purpose questioned. But she still displays the mannerisms we’ve come to know and love for her (aggressive and abrasive) but it begins to get pushed way further than it currently is in IDW. She starts to feel affection for Marshall, not just because he-

She becomes a fresh canvas to build on as she comes to meet Marshall for the first time and spend time with him. It doesn’t take long before she regains the memories she lost, but it now conflicts with what’s she’s experienced during the time she was “offline”. Causing her first Inner conflict-

In Fractured Chaos, Surge doesn’t come in till the 5th Arc, and even then, she’s not fully herself. The instigating factor: She hits her head on the way down from falling after her first fight with Sonic. “but she fast heals coz of her augments, how could that work?” I just imagine that like-

Here comes the muscle of “The Council”, Zavok is of little mental capacity, but is strong beyond belief. The defenders will have their work cut out for them when he’s there to enforce Omega Sage’s orders 😱

The 2nd to Last design for the Council by @12thmystery.bsky.social Zavok the Chaotic During the Metal Virus arc, in this timeline, he is overwhelmed by the power of the Chaos Emerald, developing an addiction, causing him to kill the other Zeti & take theirs for himself, becoming completely feral

Had some pretty big breakthroughs of ideas for filling up the last few gaps in Fractured’s overall story; - Got infinite into a story - Got a Surge centric mini arc with the return of the metal virus just need an Opal focused mini arc and I THINK everything is pretty much ready for details ^^

Faithful Work of @raeblu.bsky.social <3 - Unity - Ira has eliminated both Gicus and Mise, He no longer has any restraint on his course of action. As he begins to destroy Timelines on a Colossal Scale, The Defenders must figure out their last possible chance to finally defeat him and save everyone.

Plus I deffo wanna explore that dynamic of the family. Marshall going off for years; thinking he’s doing the right thing. Sierra resenting him because he missed her childhood. And Surge stuck in the middle as a more laid back version of her self as a caring but firm mom
