I honestly have a hard time picturing what the ideal scenario is for them. Sidewalks that are 18 inches wide and nothing else but traffic and parking? Buses and subways are bad, but so is congestion pricing. So just pure gridlock at all times and everyone is miserable?

Ice packs gave me some short term relief. Wet paper towels in a ziploc and freeze them (I think a few drops of dish soap as well). It covers a large area without being too heavy and pressing on your skin.
