I think before I stream again I need to troubleshoot some things with my PC and/or OBS. Two consecutive days I attempted to stream and I keep dropping hundreds of frames out of the gate even after restarting PC. Worst case scenario I'll have to do offline runs for a while. 😕

Got our first PB for Lost Levels 240 Fireworks as Luigi on the All-Stars version. Pretty strong first run especially since it was over 2 minutes faster than my first Mario PB. I'd like to aim for at least 38:5x, if not then 38:4x. Sub 40 too which is pretty hype.

On my second PB ever for 240 Fireworks as Luigi, we met our goal! 39:46 LRT, the first sub 40! This run had ~4 missed timer cycles (aka 10 IGTs for firework timing), however this is a damageless run. I could go for a 3x but it's very tight for my strats. I'm happy with this.

Decided to make a custom menu or my FXPAK Pro. Really happy with how it came out. 🙂

We achieved our goal in SMB2J Mario & Luigi Warpless! Only two runs in and we got 45:46 w/o loads, or 46:18 w/loads. This run had 0 hits, however I played a lot of things safe so this is the equivalent of a really fast 2-hit run. Regardless, I'm happy enough to move on!

New PB/WR for SMB2J Mario+Luigi Warpless! Had a bad Mario run but brought it back with a decent enough Luigi run. 45:51 w/o loads. We'll keep grinding until 45:4x! 💪

Tried out a new SMB2J category where you beat 8-4 warpless with Mario, and then do the same with Luigi. Got a new world record of 46:04 w/o loads! Run was mostly decent until world 7 of the Luigi run. Depending on how my future attempts go, I'll aim for either low 45:5x or any 45:4x!

For SMB2J All Stages (Luigi -> Mario), we achieved the first 37:0x run (by ONE frame)! We took an unfortunate hit in 7-4 but a good recovery in world 8 gave us a chance entering world A. Really happy to put this category to rest!

New record for using both characters (Luigi -> Mario) in the Lost Levels! 37:11 LRT/37:43 RTA. Got 10:46 for A-D Warpless which is pretty bad so I might grind for 0x.

Unbelievable session today! I fired up attempts and reclaimed the world record on my first run! After retiming it, I ran it back only to set a new record immediately after! B2B records for 2J All Stages, Both Characters! 36:40 and 36:38 w/o loads respectively. 🙂

Now this is a run that I am very happy with! I'm surprised it only took one day to make an improvement like this. Earlier in the same stream I lost a ~30:28 to one of the final jumps in the game. It's awesome how we got an even faster run and actually completed it!

We set a world record in a unique Lost Levels speedrun where you're required to collect every star in the game. We made a 90-second improvement and have the record sitting at 30:32! I'll consider going for a 2x but a couple of the star grabs (ahem D-1) will make it very hard!

Got 38:17 in 240 Fireworks (SNES)! Not a perfect run as I got hit in 5-4 and missed 3 IGT cycles, however I don't feel much of a need to improve this run. SoB is down to 37:44 so a sub 38 is very doable. Very interesting how All-Stars is significantly faster for this category!

This daunting grind is finally over! We achieved 38:4x LRT in SMB2J 240 Fireworks with 38:45! This was my best run ever the whole way through, and I decided to play world D very safe (which cost me a reasonable 38:3x). Regardless, I'm happy enough with this run to move on!
