@marriland.bsky.social I just saw that you are uploading on YouTube again. It's good to see you again. I am happy that therapy was helpful for you. Because of time zone differences, I won't watch the livestreams live, but I will watch whenever you upload them to YouTube. I took this photo for you:

Oh neat! I wasn’t sure what that feature was for. I’ll see if it works out!

Had a fun time streaming today! Thanks for tuning in, you all!

I won’t be posting to Bluesky every time I go live, don’t worry, but since I’m getting back into the swing of things I wanted to let y’all know I’m jumping back into Pokopia Day 2 over on YouTube in just a few mins from this post! Hopefully I got the schedule stream working properly! 😅

This is also unrelated to my return or channel or anything, but I beat my second Gold Stake in #Balatro last night, using the Checkered Deck, and that felt good. I need to grind up some other decks sometime.

Thanks! I hope you’ve been well!

Perfect! Thanks! What great timing haha. Hopefully it won’t be terribly dormant going forward!

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

Thank you! That’s so wholesome. Hopefully I’ll be back for a bit this time around! You’ll have to say “wow so about that Marriland stream” now 😆

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 09/03/2026

Hopefully! I’m still trying yo figure things out. Once it’s a bit more stable they will probably show up as upcoming livestreams on YouTube directly. I’m hoping for Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. But I might also do unscheduled night streams too.

Thank you all for the kind words and messages! There have been so many and I’m so grateful for them. I will try to get through some of them, apologies if I don’t reply to yours, but know that I have read it and it means the world to hear your heartwarming messages and stories!

I apologize I’ve been absent and away from just about everything for the last year or two! I will try to be better about that, and have made a new YouTube video talking about what’s been going on and also my plans for 2026, as it marks 20 years on YouTube! #Marriland20 youtu.be/h0BrCQxmz7E

I’m not really at a point where I can answer, so I’ll just say that only time will tell but it’s not something I’m actively considering at this point in time, sorry.

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

A combination of personal reasons and mental health reasons. There are plenty of videos left there for people to watch or rewatch if they feel like it, though!

It’s kind of funny, because ever since a friend of mine got one a little less than two years ago, I’ve been meticulously checking every Deerling I pass by to see if any have pink flowers on their heads. You’d think I’d have found a Shiny one in a group or something, not like this! 😆

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/11/2024

I got a chuckle out of this yesterday in #PokemonScarlet. I was just cruising around and saw something that looked like a… uhh… Vulpix? Espeon? I couldn’t quite tell. Went closer. It was actually a Deerling right by a Trapinch. OH, but that Deerling had a PINK flower 🌸! Finally found one! 🎉✨

Screenshot from Pokémon Scarlet showing a distant view of what I thought was an unidentified mix of a Pokémon resembling either Espeon or Vulpix. It’s actually a Deerling clipping into a Trapinch.

Shiny Deerling appearing on the screen with a Trapinch running away in the background.

Both sound ambitious! Good luck on whichever you go towards first!

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

Anyway, the moral of this thread is that sometimes one small thing, like starting a #Nuzlocke challenge for the first time with a buddy in a car ride, turns into something huge. You never know what will lead to adventures or success. Sometimes you just have to follow your Heart...Gold.

1190

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

Altogether you can watch all of my challenge series in... 🕣 793 hours 35 mins and 37 seconds! 🤯 Which is just over 33 days straight, 24 hours a day! There's still time before the end of the year! 👀⏳ Get going!! (No, please, don't 🤣)

2140

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

Want to throw in some of the streamed series that were also archived? Good news, that adds an extra... 🕓 529 hours 25 mins and 21 seconds! (That's over 3 weeks!) Of course these are a lot less edited, but they're entertaining nonetheless. Good background noise. For 3 weeks.

1110

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

If you were to start watching all of these series that *weren't* streamed, such as the Emerald #Nuzlocke, HeartGold #Wedlocke, etc., it would take you... 🕑 264 hours 10 mins and 16 seconds (over 11 days!) 😱 This doesn't include any of the stream archive series!

1110

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

I had to count them up, but since then, I’ve done a total of 25 different #Nuzlocke, #Wedlocke, or similar challenge video/stream series! Of those: ✅ 18 were wins ❌ 4 were losses 🚫 and 3 were incomplete I’ve also done at least a dozen off camera, either for myself or with friends.

1160

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 12/11/2024

It was 13 years ago today that I attempted my first ever #Nuzlocke challenge. It was on HeartGold, during a car ride to St. Louis for a Pokémon tournament in November 2011. I was playing it alongside another friend in the car. Ended up getting two badges! Didn’t ever continue that one, though.

Today is 25 years since I began the site that became Serebii. It's so surreal that this has gone on for a quarter of a century. The site has grown constantly. The last few years have been the busiest and most used it ever has been. It's wild. #Serebii25 Thread/

Yes, that’s such a wonderful choice! Espeon is great, such a cool and sleek Psychic-type in general. It is great how it’s still so fondly remembered from Colosseum—that one was so good haha.

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Very nice choice and also quite apparent by your handle here! Mawile is a great Pokémon, I agree it has that combo of cute and cool (I’m particularly a sucker for the former), and anytime I’ve used one they’ve been really good, too! Also Mega Mawile was an awesome addition!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Porygon-Z is such a wild but neat Pokémon for sure! I remember when it first came out, it seemed like a joke, but it was also really powerful too!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Very cool! I’m quite partial to that line in my Sinnoh playthroughs as well! It’s pretty awesome!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Ooooh very cool! It’s a neat Pokémon (although a bit creepy imo haha 😨), but yes, it was really good when Disguise was first introduced, too!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

That’s quite a nice selection of favorites! Ok, this does beg the question, though: which is your favorite Eeveelution? 🤔

110

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

It’s indeed a very cool new Pokémon! Glad to see a new one has grown on you!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 19/10/2024

Gengar is pretty great and those are awesome reasons for liking it! Also very amusing gif to back it up, too!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Thank you for the kind words! Sorry I didn’t see that—I fully left Twitter over a year ago, even before it changed to X. I’m hanging in there, going through a lot but doing what I can. I’m glad I was able to leave an impact and impression on people during my time on YouTube!

110

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Definitely a very cool Pokémon! Very nice! ⚡️

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Raichu is pretty awesome for sure! ⚡️ 🐭

000

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Heck yeah, Weavile exudes cool! Glad you enjoy it as well and that you had a memorable one in your Diamond playthrough!

000

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Woohoo, Charmander is awesome! While it wasn’t my first starter, as time went on it became my favorite of the Kanto trio for sure. Glad you still have a favorite in the little fire lizard even to this day!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Nothing wrong with liking cuter Pokémon as time goes on! Victini is pretty great in that regard. Pretty powerful, too.

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

Really can’t go wrong with Charizard! It’s popular but for good reason: it is pretty cool!

000

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

That’s such a neat selection of favorites! Darkrai is definitely cool, but it’s neat to see the likes of Charmeleon, Dunsparce, and Delibird up there, too, because I don’t see them too often! Nice!

010

Marriland @marriland.bsky.social · 18/10/2024

I’m a big fan of them as well! They’re great!

Welcome in, everyone! Might as well get the party started by asking an important question: 🔴 Which is YOUR FAVORITE POKÉMON? 🤔❣️ ⚪️ And also, for bonus points… WHY is it your favorite?? 🤩 Do you have a particular reason or story for liking it? 📖 #Pokemon
