it's funny because it was just an inventory glitch, like 2 years ago, bc no one could check out and everyone kept refreshing their carts which made duplicate carts over and over. after an hour or so everything was in stock and you could just buy in peace. my 10th year of this madness lol

i have the porter POTR stroll and minä anemone, anone-anone, light berry, ohayo zip case and a piece cover that i got when it was still sold through the lottery. i got really into minä when the other collab/regular hobonichi covers started speaking to me less and less in recent years

i have a few minä covers and a porter and i definitely think those are worth the money. plus the minä fabric feels so nice, it's nicer to touch than the nylon covers with the CoC over it :')

i'd love to see the differences between west and east too, it would be so interesting! i think the 'little house' lineup this year was really popular in japan but i had never heard of that children's book and wasn't interested in the design

yeahh people were going crazy for junji ito! i'd never pay a scalper but so many people did, and it wasn't even necessary because it got restocked all the time. not sure about japan either, i'm pretty sure it sold most in the west tbh

that's crazy! not worth it imo, the glue they used on the my manga and i cover stained mine and i still love it despite that but, imagine paying 250 for that... yeah kinda worried they're gonna phase out staples like minä/porter for the sake of yumi/kubota for example because of garanteed sales :/

but that said i would love to see new matsumoto covers just because it was quite some time ago and his work is always so peaceful and beautiful. i think it will be junji ito again this year though

ooh i thought they came as a set, i must've misunderstood! yeah true it's been too long. i'm sad i never got the cat over kanda cover! though i do feel like in recent years they rely a bit too much on repeat collabs; like it's too many of the same artists every year. i guess it's bc they sell well

yeah a full maruko collab that's available to the west would be amazing! i'd love a major manga collab again like that year with ranma, doraemon etc. that year was so good! my maruko weeks came without the pencil board and to this day i still don't know why. it made me kinda sad when i got it lol

ahh i love that marukochan weeks, that would be my pick if i could get my hands on it! import fees are too high in europe and it would cost me a fortune :'( i got the one they released a couple of years ago and i wish they continued with that collab and made it available through hobonichi's store

so far there hasn't really been anything that sparked my interest enough to consider buying any covers. we'll see once the full lineup gets revealed. i do like the snufkin and akiko miyakoshi weeks but i think i want a sneaker weeks again this year. what about you?

it's tomoe river paper! midori paper bleeds a lot so i couldn't swatch directly on the left side because of that, so i swatched on seperate pieces of tomoe instead and pasted them over the bleeds

same, it's such a struggle. most anti-frizz products don't do much for me either or they make my hair oily because it's very fine. i look forward to low humidity winter weather lol

this happens to me often too! i think it might be bots that comment and the comments get automatically flagged and deleted or something. either way it's annoying and weird
