Swipe right to spot the difference? I literally stopped in my tracks yesterday as I walked down Dean Street and noticed that something was missing. Every time I paint a location it develops such a connection with me, that every detail is familiar. So to see the red phone box gone, felt a little sad

One of my favourite paintings of Soho. I tried to paint it without any cars or people, as I iften do. But, there is the lorry at the far end of the road, that I liked the glow of it's red lights reflected in the wet street, along with the neon from Bar Italia and Ronnie's, so left it in.

I can laugh about it now, but the stress caused by DPD, who over a month ago lost my painting Southbank I in transit to my customer. Then, eventually retrieve it only to keep it in their depot for 11 days with no action! The Wanted poster is a homage to Freud's stolen painting of Francis Bacon.
