We just celebrated 250 years of this crazy experiment where a group of old revolutionaries said enough, tossed aside the rules of a federal government (yes a foreign one) and said damn it, we will risk our lives and fortunes on some crazy idea that the rights of an individual are paramount.

They were so crazy they said these rights came from our Creator and were inalienable (could not be taken away - period). Sounds good but they wrote it down (they drank a lot so good idea). Listed a bunch of complaints against a federal government and then put forth a list of said rights.

Right to say anything (1st, they wanted criticism as a check, bear arms (we are ok with force to protect these rights), 4th (see above). They were scared to death of what happens to an idea with no accountability. USA Today mentions none of this. Been a while since I took 6th grade civics.

I thought Paul Revere got on a horse, middle of the night, and said the Feds are coming - let’s roll. My teacher in 6th grade painted him as a hero - we were young and gullible. Dude!seems like an agitator- add our Founding Fathers too. I’m looking for the update to these founding documents.

I don’t know enough re Graham from Maine but the mental gymnastics the Dem consultants would have to do for a guy that had an SS tattoo (but didn’t realize the meaning) & more women having credible issues who knew him than Bill Clinton in his prime (and Bill was a great politician) is stunning.

The Republicans spent over $200 million in NC alone on one ad - trans surgeries for prisoners (as a lawyer never heard of that issue). It swung the state and was their most effective ad - period. I’m not arguing the merits. Just reality. You have to win to govern.

And trust me, I’m not saying she’s not a good person and she might be a viable candidate in another state. But whoever did her initial campaign ad can’t be from SC or have a clue about SC politics. You can’t run on that platform in SC. I think last Dem Senator was Fritz Hollins - who is doing this?

And her main political work was gun legislation in response to Parkland - and I’m not saying I don’t agree with her but to run a statewide campaign in SC? Insanity. And my wife as a blond lawyer was told to wear a dress to court (tip of iceberg). Now that was 20 years ago but still relevant.

I’m from the South so really slow. This guy buys $45 million of Trump coins, the documents say the voting shareholders (guess who) can just seize the account, they do it and take the money, now he’s suing in Federal court. Isn’t that the entire purpose of the venture? What am I missing?

Vatican supposedly studying moral guidelines for AI and were asked by Silicon Valley We can’t have any guidelines, moral or otherwise, except what Thiel dictates - he struggled on question of should humanity continue. It is much easier without humans raising questions. To do what I’m not sure.
