For 20 years the sea has given everyone a false sense of security, that global warming wasn't so serious. When the city temperature stays in the 30's well into the night, you realize that a heat sink is not always cool, and probably the same with the sea one day also.

When the temperature in the city reaches 37 degrees, but on the coast only 31. When the summer wind that blows over the sea is fresh and clean, not hot and dusty. You realize and are first grateful and then shocked, that the massive, beautiful, blue sea before you, acts as a huge heat sink.

"Boycott" originates from 1880 in Ireland, named after Captain Charles Boycott, a land agent who was ostracized by local tenants after refusing to reduce rents. The community's organized, non-violent isolation of him led to the adoption of his name for this form of economic and social protest.

For some people, from partners to presidents and prime ministers it's often someone else's fault. They can blame their spouse, the referee, or the opposition party. And when blame becomes violence, we have learned to unanimously condemn the the common thugs, but not the privileged ones it seems.
