I have not posted these anywhere until now, but I saved the scripts given to me from each day on the set and have a special “Ted Lasso” folder as a keepsake!

I don’t have much to add from my time with the crew that I haven’t said in previous posts, but it was such a pleasure to work with that crew and see firsthand how the magic was made.

The rookies, who played a decent amount, looked fantastic!! Love what I saw in the first preseason game! #ChiefsKingdom

I’m excited to see the rookies today during the preseason game! Delane, PWoods, R.M. Thomas, Emmett Johnson, Cyrus Allen, Canaday, Benson, Nussmier and others! Plus Justin Fields and Ken Walker starting. Should be a fun first half if nothing else! #ChiefsKingdom

Since Ted Lasso Season 4, episode 1 is officially out… it’s safe for me to say that I was the stand-in for Jeremy Swift’s character, Leslie Higgins while they filmed in Kansas City last summer!

Higgins and Rebecca stand-ins reunited a couple of weeks ago at the Ted Lasso World Cup watch party. Still doesn’t feel real that Hannah Waddingham stole my phone to take a selfie on their last day of filming in KC. 😅

During the scene on the plaza I was also the stand in for the security guard! Getting to work with Hannah, Juno, and Jason was absolutely amazing. All of the leads were incredibly kind throughout the process. Would have never expected this opportunity but so happy I was able to do it!

Spent an entire week last summer helping the camera crew & lighting folks get the Higgins character in the right spot for each shot for every scene he was in! What an incredible and unique experience to be able to take part in filming Ted Lasso Season 4 in KC!

She also got to play in the first quarter of the “B game” since she missed the 4th quarter of the “A game” and she dominated the first 2 minutes scoring 6 points before her coach pulled her. 😤😅

Mark the Overseer @marktheoverseer.bsky.social · 31/10/2025

They won 27-17 and Brielle had 8 points, only playing the first three quarters because apparently she had the wrong jersey on and had to go swap with one of the 8th graders. 😅 #22 in this clip. Fun start to the season!

Now this has literally hit home. My girls go to very diverse schools and some of their friends or younger siblings will likely be impacted by this. Plus I have many friends who teach in this district. Just sad!
