A surprisingly quick #orpingtonparkrun yesterday at Goddington Park. Lots of rain this week meant the underfoot conditions were a bit sticky and slippery but I managed to complete it in 25:23 and finished 24/155 runners

@serailway.bsky.social A new record for illegal parking on Station approach at Orpington today. Despite double yellow lines and clear signage I counted 15 vehicles there today (including the previously reported Fiat on a jack) Any chance you can get your parking enforcement team to deal with them?

Almost every time I pass this spot I see cars parked here. I believe this cobbled area opposite Tesco in Orpington is meant to facilitate easier turning for lorries that have delivered to the store. But of course the law of selfish drivers states that if a car can be parked somewhere then it will.
