A VITAL THREAD FOR PARENTS & TEACHERS: Did you know that 33% of parents say they've cried over their children's smartphone obsession? We've just run a Positive Social session for the parents at Mondelez International, whose brands include Cadbury, Bassett's, Philadelphia and Ritz.

If you want your child to be safe on their journey to school, DON'T give them a smartphone. Scrolling through social media instead of watching traffic won’t keep them safe. Snapping selfies or filming friends in school uniform en route to school puts them at risk. (A thread)

You don't very often hear the word "phenomenal" used. So when Clare Watson said it, I HAD to get her on record. Positive Social deliverer Dan Ortiz had spent 2 days running sessions with her Year 7s at Lees Brook Academy in Derby - helping them make better decisions about social media. Awesome!
