APC fees for journal article publication shouldn't be a thing. It encourages journals to publish poor quality papers and discourages unfunded or low funded researchers from publishing as much as they are able to. #Science

The mistake that every major world power makes is the same. & has been the same throughout history. They assume that because in this particular moment in time they are a dominant power, that they always will be. They have land, power, influence, etc. These things can all evaporate in a generation.

Wtf hasn't Starmer just stood up and told Trump he's a fat narcisist who only started a war to distract ppl from his sex crimes. Honestly - I wouldnt care how many tarifs the US put on us - I'd vote for starmer forever if he did that. Kudos to Spain though, as at least they've shown some balls!
