Hard to believe this but the front line customer support guys at #Polestar in the UK are 'not allowed' to give out the name of the UK Customer Service Manager. Can only assume he or she are ashamed of working for Polestar and want to hide behind their cloak of anonymity

Yep this twat was my former MP @baratheongirl.bsky.social - lost in last GE and didn't show at any of the hustings - plus to top it all all his big mate, also from Welshpool, Russell George MS for Montgomeryshire, is one of the other 14. Now suspended by the Welsh Tories - utter shitshow

While the high tides last week on the Wash were over a metre below that needed for a 'Spectacular', still a decent amount of activity if you were in right place at right time! #birds #ukwildlife

@6music.bsky.social just made me chuckle - news item about the earthquake in Tibet. A remote and high altitude area ... "about 4 thousand kilometers high"!! Yes 4k km! Does make you wonder how the ISS at around 400km up manages to avoid all these high mountains 🤔🤔

Just on the slim chance that anyone is aware of anyone magically acquiring a new pair of binoculars or you see them offered for sale .... my Leica Ultravid 10 x 42 binoculars were stolen from a hide at WWT Slimbridge on 11 December. The serial number is 1593393. #BirdingGear

Returned to the Dyfi estuary with the 600mm lens hoping the Gt Northern Diver (Loon) was still there. It's a juvenile. Out of nowhere a Red-throated appeared - cue mayhem! For some reason @birdguides.bsky.social are not uploading my report, apologies all if you missed this bird #birds #ukwildlife

Kind of a high key treatment here in camera - almost a Christmas kind of vibe to this, but taken in September and the bird is a bit of a butcher - Red-backed Shrike, Whixall Moss, Shropshire #birds #ukwildlife

take the dog to Aberdyfi beach for a mad hour, just take the RF 24-70 rather than any bigger lens because there's never any birds there and then this is feeding 15 yds off the beach - so this pic at 70mm on the full frame R5. Aaaargh #birds #ukwildlife

For anyone wondering how to tell the difference between a Whooper and a Bewick's Swan here's a comparison- Whooper has the 'wedge of cheese' and the yellow on a Bewick's beak never goes below the nostrils. Plus the Whooper much bigger but that mean nothing if they're not together #birds

Ok so this isn't a bird - apols for that. But if you've ever wondered why a horsefly bite hurts so much, zoom in on 3rd pic. This is a Brown Horsefly i believe, we captured in Mid-Wales - for reference the first pic shows it on a standard engineered brick, so u get the size #birds
