I’ve had a couple people reach out and ask if I’ll be releasing my annual charity calendar this year. The short answer is probably not. If you’ve been following along you’ve noticed my mental health has been struggling and crawling my way out of this latest bout of depression has been really hard.

Storytime. I first moved to New York City 16 years ago to dance with a small Ballet company. My whole plan was to move here and get my foot in the door in New York City and then make my way over to ABT. I was not a good fit for this small company.

Went to the gym and picked up some things for my fundraising. I can tell I’m on the edge of a possible mental breakdown. I’m beyond exhausted, feeling unappreciated and my soul hurts so Im trying my to keep myself busy but not run down. Trying to keep my depression at bay but this is a rough patch.

Having to constantly remind myself that not everyone is a friend. Most people are just acquaintances no matter how friendly. Once you remember that you’ll be less disappointed when they don’t show up for you they way you hoped.
