About a year ago, I posted this image without comment. A member of the public complained to my then employer, the Cupertino Union School District, trying to get me fired. The CUSD HR department pressured me to take it down. Since I was a year before retirement, I did. Here it is again.

If you’re celebrating Meta’s settlement of its lawsuit, you need to consider that all it did was purchase the authority to regulate itself. All of the structural changes in the world to mitigate its harm against minors will do nothing if their processes can be trivially sidestepped.
