GeoDeep's AI Detection on Maxar's Satellite Imagery tech.marksblogg.com/geodeep-maxa... I ran building, car, road and tree detection on imagery of Bangkok and Aircraft and multi-class detection on imagery of Myanmar. Simple CLI, run ONNX-based models on GeoTIFFs and get GeoJSON out.

Smaller Satellite Images tech.marksblogg.com/planet-labs-... I compare LZW compression to WEBP in one of Planet Lab's SkySat images of Kiribati. I managed to compress the image down to 30 MB from its original 877 MB.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory has published a building footprint and address dataset for 131M+ Buildings in the US. tech.marksblogg.com/ornl-fema-bu... ORNL had lots of help from Maxar, Lightbox, OSM and a ton of US agencies on this one.
