A great review of The Tower Broken just landed. And just a reminder that Book 1 of the trilogy, The Tower Between, is currently 99c for the eBook, so there's no reason not to give it a try 💙🪐📚

A writer friend who is a teacher gave me a wonderful opportunity to have a video call with her creative writing class. We discussed world building, what makes a good sequel and how action can lead into dramatic scenes. And they indulged me in talking about my own books #writingcommunity

I'm a night-time writer by nature, but between kids, work, and spending quality time with my wife, nights have been disappearing and the wordcount has been light. So I'm pushing back against habits and getting up early to reach my daily quota. Let's see how long this lasts #writingcommunity #authors

Only one week away from the release of the final book in my YA Fantasy Trilogy. The Tower Broken picks up from where The Tower Besieged finished. The teens have finished highschool, and are ready to devote themselves to magic. But park that for a moment. How great do these things look together? 📚🪐💙

I just finished the first of the Dungeon Crawler Carl novels. So good. A few chapters in, I wasn't sure about it. I could see why people were enjoying it and recommending it, but I wasn't sure it was for me. It felt maybe a little too silly a meta. But by chapter 6 I was hooked.💙📚🪐

My wonderful editor has returned her edits and comments for book 3 to me and I've been working through them today. It's been a while since I've read over my words. I've found myself laughing out loud a few times today. At least I think I'm funny. #indiefantasy #fantasybooksky #Booksky 📚🪐💙

This was a great book to finish off the year with, and one that felt particularly apt given how hot it has been.
