If you're going to Microsoft BUILD come learn how to build multi-agent apps using Semantic Kernel in C# or LangGraph in Python at our hands-on-lab. build.microsoft.com/en-US/sessio... There's another earlier delivery as well.

Embeddings are at the heart of how an LLM works. But understanding how they work is hard. To help, I created a simple Python Notebook that takes an array of words and plots them in a 3D graph to show how the compare in a multi-dimensional space. Feel free to check out. github.com/AzureCosmosD...

I made it by 2 minutes. They were yelling at me like it was my fault. The lack of awareness for what it's like transiting this airport is hilarious 😂

I am once again in CDG and ONCE AGAIN something completely stupid is keeping me from making my connection. This time they won't let us leave the jet way after getting off the plane. No explanation given.

Made it through CDG. I really dislike this airport but it does smell nice in places.

I left #msignite early last week due to a bad wind storm here in Seattle. No power for four days. Lots of down trees. Here's just a few. Many got much worse and still people in my neighborhood without power nearly 6 days later. So inviting some over for dinner and to do laundry.

Awesome trip to Japan this week. Met lots of customers and community to share the vector search features and massive scale that make RAG pattern and chat history so good with @AzureCosmosDB We have so much more good stuff coming this Spring. Will be back soon to share more.

I really like our new buildings on MS campus and the new cafeteria is also really great. But it's probably a bit too much to expect $26 for this sandwich and juice.

Final meal in Vietnam. Sliced pork upper left. 6 different types of fried pork upper right, then fried tofu and rice noodles. Dipping sauce of fermented tofu with birdseye chilis (HOT) 🥵 with some cucumber slices for something cool to eat. SO DAMN GOOD!!! btw, cost about $2.

Enjoying some amazing ốc or snails (and clams). Vietnamese are passionate about this stuff and easy to see why. The flavors are amazing. It's the perfect drinking food.

The best way to eat mango when drinking in Vietnam? Dip it in this combination of salt, dried plum and birdseye chili 🌶️🔥. Unexpected flavor EXPLOSION 💥💥💥 Definitely makes you want to drink more 🍺🍺🍺.

Noodle soup tends to be something people in the US and Europe eat for dinner. In Vietnam it's also typically what you'd eat for breakfast. Just look at this stuff! Check out the broth close up. See all those fat bubbles? Just glorious stuff.

Every watermelon I've had on vacation has been amazing. Had almost forgotten what a 🍉 should look & taste like. When I was a kid they looked like this. Go to a grocery store in the US today they're big, but look pale and have zero taste. Why can't we have 🍉 like these?

Finally got some street food. All of this, which fed 5 of us, plus 4 fresh squeezed sugar cane juice and a beer (for me) for about $15. Words just can't describe how good this stuff is.

Spending some vacation testing a RAG Pattern Sample using @AzureCosmosDB, @OpenAI and #CognitiveSearch. The code is partially built from a prototype I developed over 3 months. Normally wouldn't spend vacation this way. Too much riding to let slide. Will share when ready.

Enjoying some native fruits in SE Asia including Mangosteen, Coconut and Sugar Cane. All three picked directly from ground or tree. You can find this stuff in the US but it's insanely expensive and not nearly as good. Must come to the source 🙂

Pro tip if you ever travel transit through Seoul with a long layover and your connection is in Terminal 1. Wait as long as possible to go there. It's terrible. This was the only food place that still had food available.
