For the last two weeks, I have benefited from having Emily in an office that is only 8 feet from my office. I know this lecture will make you think about the transition in new and different ways. As we reach toward a fossil fuel free world, we must plan for the decline of legacy systems.

We have dealt with a similar issues at our school where our provider stopped supporting our chargers and we need to find a new company. Happy to chat offline about what we did and connect you with the clinical attorney who lead that effort.

Delighted to share the IEE's 2025 Year in Review. The IEE had an amazing year delivering energy transition assistance to local communities, producing papers on battery storage and thermal energy networks, and getting students ready to make good change. www.vermontlaw.edu/wp-content/u...

Last week, I presented research into the use of community benefit agreements in offshore wind development in a webinar hosted by @nature.org. It was a great conversation about the potential for CBAs and which states are leading the charge. Please check out recording, www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJXv...

I was quoted in The Daily Upside on the conflict between OPEC+ and U.S. oil production goals. I don't see the economics or geology to support any immediate major boost in production. The numbers don't add up. nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com?url=https%3A...

OPEC+ and Trump Circle Each Other, But US Producers Are Playing Their Own Game
With Trump expected to chase increased oil exports and more drilling in the US, OPEC+’s fear of losing market share looms larger than ever.

What do you do when your student works on federal grid deployment strategies? You invite them to present. So happy to have Peggy Giordano from DOE's Grid Deployment Office, and VLGS 1L, present on the GDO's programs to create a stronger, bigger, and more resilient transmission grid.
Peggy Giordano from the Department of Energy's Grid Deployment Office, and VLGS 1L, talked the IEE about her work supporting a stronger and more resilient transmission grid.

Welcomed @justinmikulka.bsky.social from @oilfieldwitness.bsky.social into my Oil & Gas class to talk about the future of the oil and gas industry, unfunded liabilities, and pulling the "emergency brake" on methane emissions. Conversations with experts also make for a better learning environment.
