I'm not sure we appreciate the scale of the propaganda campaign the Carney government is waging and its impact on public opinion. $115 million allocated in Q1 alone of this year for government advertising, including $76 million (!) for an 'Emerging Needs Fund' (which sure sounds slushy to me).

Carney’s hometown of Fort Smith, Northwest Territories is currently hosting wildfire evacuees from Wrigley (Pedzéh Kı̨́). Yellowknife - where I live - is currently hosting wildfire evacuees from Fort Simpson (Łíídlı Kųę). Russia is not the threat most people here are worried about.

Trump's decision to raise the NATO spending threshold — and Carney's decision to meet it — will cost Canada $68.2 billion a year more than it would have to meet the previous target, according to the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
By comparison, the total annual spending of Environment and Climate Change Canada, including the retention of 7,868 full-time staff, is $1.7 billion.
