I went to my first new movie release in the theatre in sixteen years around the end of August. I am now seeing that another movie is coming up that I should go to catch on the big screen. The Friday before Canadian Thanksgiving. I’ll need to bring a couple boxes of tissues, mind you.

Got a new decoration - a belated fiftieth birthday present for myself. I was born the day that the first episode aired, so The Day of The Doctor was my 50th birthday. I saw it on sale and had to first figure out where I’d put it.

If you are in the Apple ecosystem and grew up in the 1970s, I was in the Apple TV app and discovered that all seven seasons of The Mary Tyler Moore Show is available for a single $14.99 Cdn charge (not sure of the US price). Hard to realise how cutting edge it was.

Realised that my next doctor’s appointment is on the first day of Pride, June 1, so looking for Trans Pride clothes or at least pins. I think that this is a nice one, about 3.5 cm tall. I’ve got a trans coloured striped top with a full front trans emblem also ordered.

Making mashed potatoes is a rarity for me, largely reserved for holiday meals. While prepping that for my Easter dinner, I noticed my little bottle of liquid smoke. Once drained and put in the blender with some cooking cream, added a drop of liquid smoke. Good idea, it turned out.
