All that positive energy got me through a long, rough spell. Moffitt was horrendous, and Gainesville UF Neurology was a day from hell. 8 hours of 2 doctors and 2 therapists with lots of tests. Travel was and still is uncertain and nerve wracking. Keep you posted. Hope you're well! 🥰😘😘

... because a hurricane is shortly about to hit the house. There's mandatory evacuation orders. Not sure when I can get a pilot to get home. Probably Sunday or Monday. Thankfully, I'm staying at a hotel with restaurants and room service. I'm just chilling and taking it easy now. Be well! 🥰😘

Thanks so much, Debbie! I needed all the positive vibes I could get. And, apparently, they worked 💪 I survived the most exhausting couple weeks this year. I swear, I'm not going to another doctor until next year! Well, except for the pain doctor 😆 Now I'm stuck in Gainesville ...

Been through hell!!! Came out the other side ... alive 😆 I beat the 😈 again! However, he decided to throw a hurricane at the house. There's mandatory evacuation. I can't get there at least until Sunday, probably longer. I'm "stuck" in Hotel ELEO in Gainesville with restaurants and room serv.

I tried stopping eating at 60 hours. They out me under. I woke up, and they said I had food in my stomach and couldn't do anything. They scheduled the next day, which meant 48 more hours of no food. Then I tried 68 hours. I thought 4 hours couldn't make that big of difference. Repeat above 😡

Thanks, I was getting to you next 😆 You saved me from typing. If I were thinking at all, I would have put your tag name in, too. It took 15 minutes just to add 2 medications to my drug list. I've taken an amphetamine which should be kicking in soon. They're prescribed for just such occasions

PS. You'll find this amusing. Been here 8 years. I'm on my 6th cardiologist. My 4th cardiologist left to work at home because of kids, doing telehealth. So they assigned and set up an appointment with my 5th. Two weeks after 4 left, 5 left. I never saw 5. I don't even know who 6 is!!

I was supposed to leave Sunday for Punta Gorda, but the scheduler got confused and had me going there on Wednesday, the day of surgery in TAMPA! I was furious. She said she'd try to get a pilot for today, but have back-up plans. I said the only back-up plan I'm capable of is to cancel surgery. 4/

And fly me to Gainesville on October 7 to the University of Florida to see my movement disorder specialist for the PD on the 8th. They have intentions of running me through the mill! So I'm staying another night, and leave there and come home on October 9th. It ALL just worked out yesterday. 3/

Tomorrow, Wednesday, I have my procedure. I've been on a clear liquids diet since Sunday morning. Afterwards, we'll stay another night or head back to his house, overlooking the Gulf of MEXICO 🇲🇽 It's so soothing and relaxing there. Then a private plane will pick me up in Punta Gorda. 2/?

From her hospital bed, she signed her last graduation/congratulations letter to a child who had read all of her free books for children, and then was just gone. Giving to the last moment! Her death even brought the whole country together ... for a moment. I'll celebrate every 9/25! HAPPY 925 🥳

She was an angel 😇 on earth. Being from Nashville and meeting her socially a few times, her death hit me hard. After moving to FL, I was out of contact with friends who said she, and most of Music Row, knew she was dying from kidney cancer. 1/2
