If i had a nickel for every time I ran into to a wild turkey in the parking lot of my local strip mall while on my morning walk for coffee, I'd have fifteen cents. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened 3 times.

My top 25 games, in no particular order. Only one game per franchise. Arranged like this, I realize I should be less hard on myself that I haven't finished many games. I tend to gravitate to games with no end.

A nice little post workout spot to chill and put in some light reading. Almost finished reading Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. In the home stretch now and things are really starting to pick up.

I know it's steam sale szn and I'm as pumped as anyone to buy a ton of games I'm probably not gonna get to play, but check your local spot before you splurge. I found Bomb Rush Cyberfunk at my local @pnpgames.bsky.social for less than the steam sale price. Support local. Support physical media.

Movies I wanted to watch that aren't available on any of the streaming services I pay for: #3. 02/28/2025 Starship Troopers (1997) Kinda feels like this should be easily available to watch at this moment...

Happy #LetterboxdFriday everyone! Here are my #LastFourWatched I've been down and out with the flu all this week, so I had to scour for some 90 minute movies cause there was no guarantee I wasn't gonna pass out if the runtime was over 2 hours.

A screenshot of my last four movies watched on letterboxd. From left to right they are: Freelance (2023), Pitman (2007), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023), and The Gentlemen (2019)

Saw Love Hurts last night. What a fantastic movie. We need more movies like this. Action flick that is a brisk 90 minutes, no tights no flight, and the fate of the universe isn't at stake - just the protagonists world. It also never gets old to see what is obviously Winnipeg on the big screen.

30 Days of Video Games - Day 28 Favorite Genre: Sports As much as I loved video games, young me lived and breathed sports. Part of the reason I haven't finished that many games is because I poured 1000s of hrs into franchise modes. Hockey, basketball, football, boxing, wrestling; give em all to me

I don't finish games very often. Usually I'll hit a wall or I just get bored, or, primarily, I play a lot of games that don't have endings. This year, I picked a small handful of games I vow to finish this year. Three retro, and one for each of my main gaming systems.

A collage of video game box covers for the 6 games I vow to finish in 2025. The six games are Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, Kung Fu, Super C, Persona 4 Golden, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Yakuza 0.

30 Days of Video Games - Day 26 Favorite Series - Assassin's Creed Fell right into the hype of the original thanks to G4. They're not all bangers, and the movie might be the worst thing I've ever seen in the theatre, but there's been some hits, and I'll never forget how the 1st made me feel.
