The inter-dimensional spacetime vortex to an angry god pharaoh worked out quite well I think?

The entire catchment of the River Wye has been formally recognised as a living ecosystem with intrinsic rights in a charter, a UK first that campaigners hope will help save the highly polluted river. About time. #riverwye #forestofdean

Working on the next location in my campaign; a ruined jungle temple. Mainly EVA foam with printed details. #DnD #tabletopterrain # #modelmaking

Low Earth Orbit Salvage Crew, often referred to, in derogatory terms, as a ‘Vac Cleaner’. The AntiGrav harness is produced by AG-5Y5(TM) who developed the original technology for the famous Wipeout 2097 races. #spacesuit #modelmaking #collectabledolls #scifi

Ok, it turns out that she wasn’t *quite* finished. I felt that she needed a little extra visual weight at the bottom of the figure, hence the additions to the boots. However, I’m finally happy with her at last. AntiGrav harness from AG-5Y5(TM) who developed the technology for the Wipeout2097 races.

Finished a piece of terrain for a friend’s D&D game. Not quite Castle Greyskull, more like the maisonette next door 😉 #DnD #ttrpg #tabletopterrain

Working on a piece for a friend, he’s running his first D&D game for his son and this will be the final location with an imprisoned mage to rescue. #DnD #TTRPG #gamingterrain

Although I’m absolutely not a fan of AI & I think it’ll probably be (one of) the death(s) of us eventually, I will forgive it in this particular case, as one of my players used it to extend pics of the tabletops we used in yesterday’s game & I must admit that it’s pretty awesome. #DnD #TTRPG #RPG

The opening scene set up for tomorrow’s adventure - a murder mystery on Baku island (I can say that because I know that none of my players are on Bluesky 😄)

Another Playmobil conversion to add to my growing D&D fleet.

I’ve had far too much fun converting this from a Playmobil pirate ship into something I could use for my next D&D game 😊

Yeah, I may not have ‘fully’ followed the instructions on the pack….

You can’t beat a sunset over the sea. I can’t help thinking that this world would probably be a better place right now if everyone took a moment to stop, and just admire this amazing blue ball flying through space that we call our only home.

Went for a nighttime walk without a torch, just letting my eyes adjust to the dark. The night sky was crystal clear and full of stars - it helps put the world into better perspective.

A welcome, albeit brief, escape from the current real-world dystopia with another game of D&D in my current campaign, set in in the world of 1,001 Nights. Heroes were heroes, the bad guys lost and the adventurers escaped on a magic carpet to fight another day. #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg

A few photos from the town’s annual NYE Giant Puppet parade last night. Happy New Year to you all, wherever you maybe be 🥂

For Xmas I’ve been reunited with a piece of my childhood: Major Matt Mason. He’s in almost pristine condition, virtually no wear to the paintwork &, most importantly, (& rarely) none of his wires are broken! So, merry Christmas, may you also be reunited with childhood memories this festive season 🥂

A few photos from my last D&D game of the year. I must admit that I’m thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to both embrace my TTRPG hobby and make cool terrain for the games at the moment - it makes a nice change of pace from making things for a living for a while. #ttrpg #dungeonsanddragons

Just revisiting Fallout 4 after a year or so in preparation for Fallout season two. Mostly playing around with a couple of my favourite settlements and making them a little weirder for fun #fallout

Last night was the annual Dickensian Evening, with giant puppets of the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, I made the ghost of Christmas Past. I love that my home town does so many events like this throughout the year.

Today’s D&D game - again, mistakes were rolled, people got hurt but laughs were plenty and nobody actually died, (although it was close a couple of times), just the way it should be 😊 #D&D #trpg

My first time playing a tabletop RPG in a cavern - a game of HeroQuest in Carnglaze Caverns in Cornwall. It definitely added to the ambience! #carnglazecaverns #heroquest #companyofthegoldendragon #tabletopgames

These hands have been responsible for everything I’ve ever built or drawn or painted during my lifetime. I guess it’s no real surprise that they’ve developed some wear and tear over the years. #arthritis
