My non-Friday #LastFourWatched. I love discovering short film series; had no idea that SHORT CIRCUIT existed, but it's been a fun watch, so far. And LOST BULLET 2 is a fine sequel.
movie posters for just a thought, lucky toupée, exchange student, and lost bullet 2.

Some of these 9 albums would likely change if I did this tomorrow since it already changed after I first did it tonight (and the site doesn't have a bunch of the live albums I would have included) but I feel this list is pretty accurate.
covers for metal health, harvest moon, physical graffiti, junta, powerslave, american beauty, ten, apple, and escapology.

People freaking out about this "Ye Olde English" stuff bc Shakespeare didn't write in Olde English, it's set in Italy, and blue jays don't fart like thunder or something, but Shakes also didn't write it with gun play or in Italian or with gnomes. We're all gonna be okay.

What's great about college football is that Baylor/Auburn is about as brutal a game as you can watch, and Boise/Oregon about as exciting a game as you can watch and they're both absolutely riveting TV. I love college football.

Baseball fans love to say, "Every game, you can see something you've never seen before" about the game's unpredictability, but what is going on at The Artist Formerly Known as Sky Dome right now is something few people have ever seen before.

That Battle of the White and Red Sox game at the Fens tonight was incredible. Two really good teams putting on the drama. This Sawx turnaround is unlike anything I've ever seen. This club has completely flipped from unwatchable to must see.

I get that right-handed power bats are in short supply right now, but it feels like Early should bring back more than Curtis Mead (though Mead is having a very nice breakout season).

Red Sox have won 9 in a row heading into the break. Wins are the point, of course, but this team is playing so much better in the 25 games or so than they did before that.

Pre-hydration break at Azteca: two teams playing it safe. Post-hydration break at Azteca: two teams going full out, tossing haymaker after haymaker at one another. Best atmosphere of the entire World Cup, so far, and maybe on its way to the best game of the tourney, too.

Lopes Cabral with the absolute kick of his life. For all the rightful grief this event took in the build-up (too many teams, too much FIFA-ness, too many World Peace trophies to criminals), World Cup '26 has been the best kind of tournament you could want.

Took the pup for a very short walk in 92-degree heat and came back to find Jaylen Brown traded to the Sixers for a couple of first round picks and Belgium erase a 2-goal deficit to Senegal. Pretty sure I'm heat hallucinating right now, as neither of those things can be real.

This might just be the most miserable Red Sox offense I've ever seen. No power, no clue, poor contact. The team plays an utterly lifeless brand of baseball.

Bases loaded. 1 out. Zero runs scored. This Red Sox team is brutal at the plate.
000
Mark Bousquet @markbousquet.bsky.social · 02/05/2026
Collectively, this Red Sox team must not read the ball well out of pitchers' hands. They swing at more balls out of the zone and watch more balls go right past them in the zone than anyone.

Mark Bousquet @markbousquet.bsky.social · 26/04/2026
I've certainly been critical of the Red Sox performance this season, but firing half of everybody except the GM who put this team together feels a bit extreme. FSG is so eternally concerned with being seen as the smartest guys in the room that the next manager will probably just be AI software.
