Good morning :3 there's always so much I like to do that it's always difficult for me to stay in bed for a longer time in the morning haha that was already like that as a kid, I hated not getting up

And -Serpent's Lair (1995) -Unheimliche Geschichten (1919 German movie as a collection of stories one incl a black cat) -The Cat Creature (1973) -A bucket of blood (1959) -Fish & Cat (2013) an Iranian Horror movie about cooks of human flesh, sounds very interesting, but cat seems to be only in title

A few I found (but not sure how predominant the role of the cat is) -Cat's Eye (1985) -The Black Cat (1984) -Sleepwalkers (1992) -The Uncanny (1977) -The Voices (2014) -Uninvited (1988) -Two Evil Eyes -Pyewacket (2017) -Dead Eyes (1989) -Felidae (1994) -the Cat and the Canary (1939)

Oh that sounds bad, but indeed such things make the area very special

010

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 9h

I probably would go for the Iranian vampire movie given that choice. I found quite many horror movies involving cats, but most aren't available freely in Germany right now, so I may go for something more obscure for that day, let's see which movie actually will play

Very beautiful, the broken bench looks so cool, where was that area?

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 16h

The original of that movie is by Wes Craven and from 1977 btw

Day 2 of the Horror Movie challenge, catching up Bad remake "The Hills have eyes" (2006) ⭐⭐⭐ 1/2 Not a bad movie tho. A family drives through the desert, getting trapped by folks who have mutated as a result of nuclear tests Very gory & disturbing, not for the faint ones, but also atmospheric

Ohjaaa bin ich die letzten Tage auch ganz schlimm, maybe Wetterwechsel so wie Frühlingsmüdigkeit nur für Herbst haha

Lovely late summer weather ☀️ Have a nice day y'all. :3

Yeah such old houses can be very creepy especially when you sleep there too

010

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

..to shut down any critical thinking

010

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Wow that's really worrying. I would understand if they censor literature that is really pornographic in parts such as Henry Miller, Houellebecq, Lautréamont, Marquis de Sade or Jean Genet, though of course I wouldn't support it, but their choice is ridiculous and simply authoritarian, like trying...

100

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Oh yes, absolutely. They're all modern classics. It's tellingly revealing that such books are censored

000

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Oh that's pretty horrible, I haven't heard of that happening in the US over here. People working in libraries really should stand up against this, also liberal parents

000

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

If you want to follow along in the challenge, here's the list. I'm still catching up :3

31 Days of Horror Movies Day 3 Tech Horror- Undertone (2025) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was the easiest available for me,so I watched it too. It's about podcasters coming across weird audio clips incl. reversed messages, not that much action, but well done, scary as something like that could happen in everyday life

It’s banned book week from the 4th to the 10th. You’d be surprised what’s been banned, channeled, or burned the most. “Read whatever they’re trying to keep out of your eyes and your brain. Because that’s exactly what you need to know.” - Stephen King pen.org/report/the-n...

Books you might be surprised are frequently banned/censored (up to today) in US public schools, curriculum, universities, and libraries: - 1984 - The Fault in our Stars - Catcher in the Rye - To Kill a Mockingbird - How to be Antiracist - The Handmaid’s Tale - Twilight - All Stephen King novels 👇

Oh and we've read Catcher in the rye in school, in English, what a great novel

010

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Same btw with texts like Brave New World or Fahrenheit, of which we had excerpts in English lessons

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Wow I can understand why some are on the list, but surprised to see Stephen King and Harry Potter, I guess it's banned at very conservative places considering it sorcery or demonic? And The diary of Anne Frank? That's really surprising, over here it's even read in some schools

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Oh yeah, I think that could be a great movie, I hope it's shown in the big cinemas over here for which I have a pass :3

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Because I've seen someone saying something different somewhere here There's nothing wrong with jerking off every day or even several times every day. Just enjoy yourself. Do whatever makes you feel good ✨

The "Wolfman" movie was very atmospheric, set in late 19th century England, brought across that feeling for that time very well ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Do you also fall asleep later when you consume caffeine late? I found out this regularly happens to me when I have it past 6 pm

Will also start to follow through the Horror Movie Challenge for October, inspired by @throwingfits3.bsky.social Catching up... Day 1 Rad remake Going to watch "Wolfman" (2010), it's a remake of the movie "The Wolf Man" from 1941 🐺

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yeah I completely agree. Probably smart glasses will be the next big thing in the late twenties/ early thirties, people using them to film, take pics, translate, get additional information, finding their way, posting live, phone etc

120

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yeah doing stuff as a series is often better suited for books with lots of detail

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Sounds very good, I'll try to watch it the upcoming weeks ^^

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

That's great, also it's cool all 8 episodes drop at the same time. I think I must have watched an old movie version of that book in the past

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Sounds very cool, where will it be shown? Netflix?

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Yeah maybe you can let know customer service, so they can check it out and hopefully add it properly soon

110

Mark🎶🏳️‍🌈 @mark151.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Naaaw Hope you'll get it to work 🍀🤞
