I agree mate, I don’t think they’ll be wholesale changes. I reckon Heaven and Dorgu will come into the defence and Bruno with Santos for Youri, Sesko to start with Cunha and Mbeumo. We’ll be keen to start with a win and I still think Sabah are very dangerous, with nothing to lose.

It could be worse…I had such a bad week 1 that I wanted to change most of my team. I used a ‘free hit’ not knowing your team reverts back to the previous team after 1 weekend, I believe I should have used a wildcard 🤦🏽‍♂️

I get the feeling we won’t address this depth issue in this window and I always feel we’re 1 or 2 new faces short every window. I get that we’re in a rebuild, but even loans in those positions could give us cover until next summer.

This bugs me also. I have no issue with anyone taking photos, particularly first time visitors, families and youngsters, but the amount of times I’ve seen people film every passage of play and watch the game through their phone screens 🤷🏽‍♂️ Save your money and watch it on TV for God’s sake! 😏

I’m late to this debate and thought I’d add nothing at all of value to it. If I was in charge I’d have spaffed millions on the best players & prayed it would be enough for top 4 and a cup before I got the sack. I don’t United penny-pinching, but the above shows why my CV wouldn’t get me the job 😏

Fair point. Maybe some good buys for teams but some big losses. We’ll see where we are when the window closes as I think there will be lots of activity in August and I’m sure we’ll add more depth and cover, even if it’s not a big money buy.

Rashford is a divisive figure for all reds, given his recent history. Attributing a poor attitude to being in a poor team doesn’t stand when you look at what Bruno has done in poor teams. United’s policy of wanting players who want us is questionable with Rashford. If he goes, I’d wish him well.

This is such sad news. Franco Baresi was a rock in a great Milan side I loved to watch in the 80’s and 90’s when he won 3 European Cups. A truly great player 😔

I think we’re not finished yet in the window, but we do have to look at how the other top teams are strengthening and so my opinion is we still need to add more quality to compete in a full season. Rashford will probably move and I for one would be happy, he always looks one sulk from a bad game 😏

The Rashford question is divisive amongst reds. Personally, he shown enough disdain & disrespect to the club that I doubt he’ll add anything to the team other than diluting a positive dressing room. His performances and non-effort suggest his beef was with the club, not just Amorim. He’s not for me.

The Labour roots were relevant for years. Old Trafford itself is in Trafford Park, once one of the largest industrial areas in Western Europe. A base for thousands of factory workers & dockers.
