This year has been a bit of a struggle so far, but things are looking up! 🌸🩷 Here's a few of my favourite moments from the last little while.

Before the end of the year post your favorite art pieces of 2025 & tag 3 mutuals to do the same @artikuta.bsky.social @artbytuna.bsky.social @uncannykari.bsky.social I kinda sorta missed the "before the end of the year part" but the spirit is still there! 🐌✨

Been stuck on a painting for a couple weeks. But it's been a luxury to indulge in some personal works now that I'm caught up on professional projects and other obligations! Trying to delve deeper into storytelling with my illustrations lately.

Bought a book at a Scholastic Book Fair today ... How's THAT for nostalgic? (PS... New books for $3 🥰 felt like the good ol' days)

Today's #rattober! I tried my hand at "Abstract Rat" at work today but I think I still went a little more representational than originally intended 😅 #rattober2025

Going to be taking a little break from Rattober for now to work on a few commissions and portfolio pieces, but I'm sure I'll be sneaking a few more ratties in before the end of the month, one way or another 🤭

#rattober 10 - "Hello Rat"! Two rats saying hello (by sniffing!) I think traditionally this may be done primarily at the rear end? Rats and rat caregivers, please chime in with your preferred greetings 🐭 #rattober2025

In case anyone doesn't already know this about me, I am a HUGE Lady Gaga fan 🥹 she recently posted this video joking about being a Labubu after some fans mentioned her Bad Romance wig resembled Labubu ears ... So I just had to draw the Bad Romance costume on both Gaga and a little Labubu friend 😆🩷

I've been in a little bit of a creative funk lately, so I thought I'd do something a little fun and self-indulgent and illustrate some of my outfits from my recent trip to Japan! 🌸

I've been working on this two-page spread for a project in my portfolio, and I think it turned out quite charming! I referenced real photos of my little brother and me with our first cat, Bailey. The book is a semi-autobiographical retelling of his time with our family. #kidlitart #illustration #art

Tony Tony Chopper 🍄 #onepiece In my opinion the cutest version of Chopper is when he's first introduced in the Drum Kingdom arc and he's all chubby and scrungly and kind of rude 🩷🦌just a little guy in his shorts. #illustration #art

Our lil Christmas tree 🎄🌟 It's decorated mostly with crafts made by friends and little things we've picked up in Japan. I almost always go for multicolour lights but this tree can switch to warm white as well so I do change it up sometimes! 🥰
