i'm not saying they're related, i'm just saying it's funny to me.

Not that Taylor is un-interesting--obviously, they're in my commonplace. I just mean that I just have crazy notes like 'novas?' 'the state?' 'service/tinker/tailer/soilder/spy?!' 'interest in historical architecture?' More dead-ends than definitive thoughts.

Mari 🥞 @marisbumf.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Oh Taylor's just a section of my commonplace 😂 (And honestly, probably the least interesting section)

I feel what both of you are saying, to which I say, "it's just the internet!" Put it down by hand in a common place. You'll have the makings of a book in no time. Even if it's just for your own personal reference. <3

These being dropped on the SAME DAY is WILD…. Sisters, twins, shadow selves

Screenshot from Chani app.
Reading for the week of September 27th, 2026.

Text reads:
You don't just go into the underworld without protection and without backup. So she goes into the underworld. She has to derobe something. She has to take something off at each of the seven gates of the underworld. Seven's also a very important number. And when she gets to the underworld, she meets her sister, who's moaning, who's forlorn, who's just lost her husband. And Inanna says she's going down for the funeral rites to pay respects.
Now, nobody comes back from the underworld.
You have to also... like, you don't just go into the underworld and then come back. It's the
underworld. So she goes into the underworld, and her sister, Ereshkigal, fixes the eye of death upon her, and she's essentially not living anymore. And in the poem, it says that she's then hung up. Her corpse is hung up on a meat hook in the underworld.

Screenshot from the Chani app for the week of September 27th, 2026.

Text reads:

There's a lot going on in this story already. I want us to kind of parse out a couple of things, which is to say, Inanna is called into a process of getting low and going down into a subconscious or subterranean place, maybe in herself, maybe not.
We could play around with these motifs. She meets her sister. So a sister is often another side of self. A sister is related to us, right? It's a relation. So it is a part of us, or it's related to us.
Now, the sister, Ereshkigal, is the Queen of the underworld. Inanna is the Queen of Heaven and Earth. Inanna is the most beautiful beloved.
Inanna is celebrated. Inanna is the great Goddess that everybody sees. So there also has to be a counterpart to that. The counterpart is her sister, left in the underworld, also in deep grief. Now, when Inanna comes down into the underworld,
she is stripped of her powers, and she is left vulnerable. She actually has to enter into Ereshkigal's quarters bowed, like low, and then she's done for, hung on a meat hook.

Text reads:

taylorswift The Patient Zero video is finally out in the world! Getting to work with @chivexp was something out of a dream sequence, and ! learned so much from getting to watch his genius in action. I want to thank @dakotajohnson and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent (Giggling with your friend because you're twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience). And Colin's turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him.
He's an absolute light and as kind as they come. @caradelevingne, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That's what friends are for?
With the Patient Zero video, I got to explore the cinematic and literary genres I love so much. I wanted to incorporate elements of gothic ghost stories, true crime, psychological thrillers all in a setting I hadn't really shot in much. The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that's faded and atrophied. Thank you to @ethantoman for your insightful production design, and bringing that feeling to life.
My editor @chancler has outdone himself. And lastly, thank you to the @vmas for giving us a World Premiere at the place where celebrating music videos became a thing. And so much love for you guys, always.

I laugh everytime I think about Cleveland! Lyric video...she really said THIS (not He) is the love of my life then doubled down by showing fuckass lesbian flag roller skates everytime the Lyric came on even though she could have flashed this clip of him. I love TayComedien married to the hustle

From the Cleveland lyric video a woman's legs in the air with white roller skates that are decorated with orange, yellow and pink hearts and "this is the love of my life"

000

Mari 🥞 @marisbumf.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

it's so sad though. like Taylor wasn't successful. if songs are mantras they put into the world then music videos feel could be manifestations/prophecies. i dont know--i'm shook at how defeatist it is from that point.
