hudson allows downloading movies so ill have some of those in my collection downloads are around ~10mb/min so does bandai entertainment channel, so does konami channel

for internet channels: dont have space so most notes are in alt text

movie channel while external tools can add things it can not naturally in the ui im pretty sure the intent is that you download movies (not videos) onto the device (also playing discs inserted)

so the reason this didnt work is because it expects it to be a usb device bsky.app/profile/mari...

so basically anything that shows up as a usb device works but you cant copy to only from also it seems it imports all the photos into a timestamped collection (can be renamed)

copied to a new album with a date and time

so with the camera and video type beat stuff i guess it expects it to showup as a usb device so things like ipod should work and the psp works and a vita with vitashell *should* work it can only transfer from not to afaict usb might receive will try later rn charging vita

when booting psbbn holding x on boot goes to hosdmenu and circle goes to linux if you have it installed

the only cool thing is the modded ability to launch stuff off the hdd lest you have an ssd its the worst thing known to man and even then it might still be psbbn is much faster

then theres hosdmenu which happened in europe its boring if you have fmcb youre not missing out psbbn must use an original network adapter but hosdmenu can install on 3rd party ones the only cool thing is the modified browser with hdd as an option but i hope youre ready to wait 3 years for load

you can also add and remove your favorite items from the navigator menu (select) i will use this to put my favorite games on speed dial

select brings up a new menu which shows apps (on modified version) and also mail which im about to try out not sure if its a gmail problem (i made an app password and other things can access it) but i cant connect to gmail ill look more into it

then theres the carousel for games normally it would be for things downloaded from the service (such as demos, apps, ps1 games, etc..) but in the modified version it also shows games for opl

now this is the part where id probably prefer streaming it because theres just so much to do here

unfortunately neither of my sony handcams showed up in photo channel i think i read about them breaking minidisc support so they probably also broke camera support i wouldnt be suprised if thats the only reason why

for starters it seems it has a simolar feature to the original xbox where you can rip a cd and it is on the hard drive i imagine way back when tho it had a connection to an online database for stuff like track names its fairly quick at it

when in opl you goto game settings and you can change it in there its literally called mode 1 its for accurate reads to fix games that rely on live streamed assets

at least so far in popn 10 im not having the stutter issue anymore after changing mode 1 on

its because unlike most games they stream audio and video basically like a video disc you can apparently try to enable mode 1 to run it so that it does accurate reading which im gonna try and get back to you on

cannot afford ssd tho so its just platter some games run bad from this (like popn) but i have the original discs if i need so im good

yea i just think of a usb drive and avatars nowadays tho tbh

also my entire collection im putting on here is games i dumped with my special little omnidrive drive also i put ps2 linux on it while i was at it it should arrive saturday

ordered an ide to sata adapter for ps2 so i can have fun with psbbn i was hoping the one in my 3rd part adapter worked because its the same person making them but apparently theyre wired differently for who knows what reason thankfully my adapter still works (i have ide drives to test)

im glad you said this because my reply got interacted with and i was looking at it like "wtf did i mean by this" i forgor 💀'd so much because it became irrelevant almost as soon as it was relevant

i dont get to see the bitmap generation section all that often since most games already have them made for it but when i do it gives me a little joy reminding me of the work i put in to do it

creating a bitmap for the dragon quest ix ds game including palette and sprite data

personally id say go with quillpad first if you wanna try both since notallyx can import directly from it while quillpad only imports itself (unless you use an external thing)

another difference of the two: notallyx supports multi selecting, quillpad does not generally quillpad is more compatible while notallyx is closer to keep it depends on preference ig

also *all* features of it arent editable in nc side (like the attached images for example) tho the intent of syncing in qp isnt for it to be its still really cool that they try to make it as compatible with the notes app in nc as they can and i think thats cool i havent had any issues editing both

the one thing i do miss that neither of these apps do tho was the opengraph previews for links
