It's @jeffpennington.art 's birthday. This is the first piece I ever commissioned from him, and still one of my favorites. Got it printed as a poster and gave it to my Philosophy professor who came up with the idea of this movie in class when we were talking about skepticism. He also did my PFP!

I think games become disposable because the companies funding them see them as such, especially live service. It's such a shame for something that takes so much time, effort, talent, creativity, and artistry to create.

The way items interact is unlike anything I've ever played. Shots and turn into Lazer, and then you get an item that makes it so you can control your shots with tekenesis and all of the sudden you have a ring Lazer that you can guide with your mind. And then add 20 items onto that. It's insane.

I know I'm not supposed to debate it. But I will. I think they were going for more realistic materials for his tunic. The cosplay for it is gonna be on point. It reminds me of playing Melee for the first time and how awesome it was that i could see the fabric patterns in Mario's overalls.

I didn't like the art style at first, but it looks good. I was hoping it would be more of a FF7 remake type remake. But ill still play and enjoy it. I did not expect Ocarina controls. I had one of the ones they would advertise in Nintendo Power, wish I still had it now! lol.

For real. I was also really excited for the disc to digital program so I could play my Xbox games on my PC. Some games let you install to your PC like RE Village. But a bunch of games like Spyro trilogy have to be streamed, which requires game pass, removing the whole point of a digital copy.

Dude, I have been praying for the day Jojo gets a good game. Its so ripe for it. They do have a Jojo battle royal game in arcades in Japan, its pretty fun. A Hades-like where you can play as different characters would go so hard.

@jeffpennington.art I finished the DK challenges this morning. The last two were quite difficult. You have to beat the boss rush, and The Final Rehearsal with no talents. Took a few hours, and determination. But I got it done, I'm excited to get those cards!

Weird, as a Rouge One enjoyer, I have the impression people don't like it, or at least didn't at the time. Maybe things have changed since then, but in general I don't like Star Wars movies that much, but I do enjoy the world and games quite a bit.

When I was playing DK though, I knew I was playing a modern classic, they put so much sauce in it. And people who have never played it just go "DK haz skil tree? Dum game" or something. Is Nintendo an extremely capitalist company? Yes. Do they foster fun and creativity in their games? Also yes.

I've been liking it, but I also stop playing when I start to feel frustrated (I'm not very far lol). How do you feel about the controls? I feel like I don't move like I feel like I should, if that makes any sense. Maybe I need a more old school controller, might try using a SNES controller next sesh
