Do you notice when you switch from listening… to fixing? In conversations, especially in professional settings, we often feel the need to provide solutions quickly. But that shift can happen before the other person feels fully heard.

After a few weeks of being in recovery from a bad fall, even my one hundred year-old mother was ready to protest against Trump. My aunt in New Jersey, her twin did the same thing today. And my husband is in his glory, holding onto my mother and sharing his words.
