The number of kind, thoughtful men with terrible trauma filled pasts who have told me women have it easier and being a white man is hard, is concerning. Our discourse surrounding this rape story is absolutely deserved but it’s also not reaching the ears it needs to in the way it needs to.

I maintain that he is still perfect but his lungs we’re having a bit of trouble so new grandbaby had to go to a nearby NICU. He has since been taken off oxygen and is doing much better. Has me thinking a lot about the maternal center of excellence. So grateful for all the amazing nurses.

I have a lot of weird things going on this summer but also, this one had me stumped so I was dragging my feet. I was only vaguely aware of who Styles is. When the video for Dance No More came out, I watched it over and over. I’ll put the original P4A drawing in the comments.

Just finished listening to Redshirt by John Scalzi. It’s a delightfully silly book and, like most of Scalzi’s books was read by Wil Wheaton. I still maintain that Scalzi is my favorite romance author. Exactly the book I needed right now.

When I decided to redraw my P4A art, I didn’t take into account how deeply unserious my P4A art was. Spent a ridiculous amount of time on this and it’s not really the same thing but I’m ready to move on.

Diagnostic mammogram scheduled for Wednesday. My boobs are apparently dense which turns out is a bad thing. It’s Schrödinger’s breast cancer till then. Maybe it’s there and maybe it’s not. My boobs are the one part I don’t hate, so if course they might be a problem.
