Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Our only option is to install whole house water filtration units which were quoted anywhere between $2000-$7000 depending on the company and most folks in this community are poor or elderly and simply can't afford it. 110
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 01/10/2026We've tried everything. We've gone to Council meetings. They are loathe to give out any info because they mismanaged our water system. We've contacted the DEP and they've been the ones forthcoming with info. We've contacted the Governor, Representatives, Senators. No one will help. 010

Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 29/09/2026We get HBO included in our cell plan and Paramount included with Walmart+ that's it. We won't waste any more on streaming. I watch Tubi for free. 020
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Another whirlwind summer of projects. Slowly coming along in our son's room. It's turning out beautifully! This is our first piece of furniture we've ever built. It's slow going as the floors, the walls, and even the ceiling in this old house are not level. @grateful4dead.bsky.social 151

Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Thank you! It has been. It's been a littke overwhelming some days. I am looking forward to it being finished. It's going to be beautiful! I can't wait! His dresser was broken so I found a "new" one on Marketplace. I'm going to clean it up and poly it. 😍 210
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Now we are working on our other son's room. Here are the befores as we slowly demo. We plan on adding a built in as well. 4/4 130
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 28/08/2026We had a couple of side quests unfortunately this summer. Our hot water heater & upstairs commode broke the same day. No hot water for a week. You really appreciate hot water when you get it back. It was festival life here. 😂 Then our couch broke. But @grateful4dead.bsky.social fixed it for $20! 3/4 140
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Next up was our upstairs bathroom, we did the downstairs last year. This was just a refresh as we plan on a full gut in the future but just not ready for that now. So we fixed and replaced the commode, floor tiles, painted trim, new caulk, and stained the vanity. The room looks clean and fresh. 2/4 130
Marigold @marigold420.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Summertime is project time at our house. So far we've done my son's closet in prep to reno the room next door. And yes, I'm keeping the paneling because it's beautiful and I love the vibe it gives to this room. We'll slowly take all the panels down in the room and refinish them. 1/4 180
