Any time I make something with chicken he sits near me waiting to collect his tax. Sir you already get chicken with every single meal.

I was successful he eventually gave up. One way or another he's going to internalize when I say it's time for bed I'm not playing and he is not on vacation. Being a little dog is hard and I know he's only 2 so we're all doing our best.

Wally needs to understand at bedtime the only option is bed. We are not partying, I am not chasing you around, we are done it's time to go to your room. I am not living through more tantrums in the crate my nervous system cannot.

Waffles got mad at something in the yard and started hopping toward the fence and I said NOPE ABSOLUTELY NOT IT'S TIME FOR BED COME INSIDE And I'm 99% sure I heard this potato mutter "the fuck I will" as he turned around and stomped away from me toward the fence.

Waffles has his regular annual checkup at 8 so I had to get up to get him up and give him his trazadone. Since Wally is still in the hallway outside our room I went to let him out on the way and got "the fluff is wrong with you":

I'm also incredibly blessed to be able to get my dog to a heart doctor. But look at him 😭 This is him after the appt being very disappointed that I brought him back there.

Waffles had his cardiology appointment today and y'all modern medicine is a *miracle*. His heart size went down - one chamber is back in normal range, and his blood pressure is normal. And all I had to do was give him tiny little pills with his food.

The Pepper Cannon arrived and appears to be 100% worth it. It chewed through peppercorns with very little effort and has 75 turns to the coarse/fine adjustment so you get what you want. Also it holds a lot of peppercorns and is easy to fill.
