I decided to pick up Kingdom Hearts 3 again since I finally wanted to finish the game before KH4 comes out, and I just spent a solid 30 minutes aimlessly running through the Toy Story world because I forgot that I already beat it... so off to a great start👍

One of my favourite things about powerscaling in the Kirby series is that due to Kirby himself being so powerful, a lot of basic enemies in turn become super powerful A Waddle Dee appearantly ranges between Continent Level on the lower end and Multiverse Level on the high end and that's hilarious

One thing that keeps fascinating me is that despite all the messed up things that have happened in Deltarunes Weird Route so far, the tag on AO3 still refers to it as the Pipis Route

As much as I enjoy coming up with silly nicknames for my Pokémon in Champions, I don't think any of them will ever beat the sheer brilliance that is Crystal Seth the Sableye

I don't know what they put in that Metroid Ravenous trailer cuz I've been seeing tons of people across different platforms deciding to play Metroid for the first time because of it, which I don't remember happening for Prime 4 Beyond or Dread

A new 3D Kirby is coming out? We're getting a new Xenoblade game? Close enough, welcome back 2022

Posted my Direct Bingo card on TikTok for funsies the other day and it accidentally blew up and now the comments are full of people complaining about the Direct not having Mario or Smash in it

This was a really good Direct. Surprised that we didn't get anything for Duskbloods or Xenoblade Genesis, but Metroid Ravenous and Kirby & the World Beyond have me HYPED

I swear Nia was the only one trying when naming her kid, meanwhile we got Pyra and Mythra calling their kids Glimmer and Shimmer lmao Either that or Rex was the one responsible for this

🩷Mari Calamari🩷 @maricalamari.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Honestly at first glance, I'm a bit disappointed with this selection of newcomers. Aside from like Mega Salamence, Rillaboom & Indeedee (as far as I can tell at least) there don't appear to be many major threats to the current meta so we're likely gonna keep seeing similar teams

Also them showing no trailer for the Zelda movie is honestly kinda shocking All we got was the title (basically what you'd expect it to be) and the release date (which we already knew) This really could've been an email lmao

With the Ocarina of Time Remake releasing soon I might just have to go back and replay Oot & Majoras Mask 3D again

🩷Mari Calamari🩷 @maricalamari.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Overall I'll definitely check out the Ocarina of Time Remake once it drops. I think all the environments & gameplay adjustments look really good, but some of the character designs look a bit off in a few shots here & there Also them dropping this in November is honestly kind of a power play ngl

I may have misheard it in the trailer, but it seems like they might have settled on Matt Mercer as the definitive voice for Ganondorf

I'm not 100% certain of this, but I feel like most recent main Nintendo Directs were announced only like 1 or 2 days in advance, so the fact that they announced these ones this early seems really interesting to me

I swear people need to start giving their Pokémon silly nicknames more often in Champions, cuz everytime I fight someone who nicknames their mons my respect for them goes up tenfold, no matter the team they use

I like how important Salmon Run and the Salmonids as a whole have become to Splatoons identity in recent years Salmon Run was the main new addition in Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3 added Big Run, Mr Grizz was the main villain of the story mode and now we have a whole spinoff game focused around them

One thing I love is reading & getting invested in fanfics of fandoms I know nothing about Like, I have absolutely ZERO interest in Stranger Things, but there's this one ongoing fanfic that's just so cute and well-written that it's got me hooked
