Behind Mrs. Kitner is the funeral director reaching out for Mrs. Kitner, getting ready to take her away from the scene. Mrs. Kitner is dressing all in black. Skirt, blazer, heels, and a hat with a veil. The veil and skirt blowing in the wind. Chief Brody wears glasses, a blue Amity Police jacket, brown shoes, and khakis. His head is low and turned away from the viewer after being slapped. He is looking away from the viewer in shame. The funeral director wears a fedora, glasses and all black suit. In the background is the tiger shark they mistook for the great white shark, strung up on a hook and rope, and were prematurely celebrating its capture.
