I personally think deep down he does. He grew up mixed in the 1920s with people already hating him for just existing with Al always trying his best but still being treated unfairly. External hate can create self hate.

Since Alastor thinks women are “fragile and dainty” maybe another reason he thinks that is because maybe his mother was either abused or k*lled. So, he keeps that mindset because he couldn’t protect her and does it for other women to make up for it 🥺💔 #HazbinHotelAlastor

I think people seem to forget that Alastor protected a women from being killed. Idk how canon this comic is now, but it does seem to show Alastor has respect for women & wants to protect them. I’ve been seeing some very questionable takes about the misogyny😅 #HazbinHotelAlastor

Yeah I don’t see him saying it to their face, and I think he thinks he needs to protect them. But with Charlie, he sees potential in her which doesn’t seem misogynistic at all since he expects a lot from her and admires her 🤔

I’m sure we all grew up thinking a certain way because of how we were raised at home or taught at school or society. I grew up raised in a bubble/I was very sheltered. Is that my fault? No. I still subconsciously asks my parents for permission even though I’m an adult.

Since Alastor is internalized misogynistic “internalized” means he’s unaware of it. Alastor grew up in an era where misogyny was the norm in society. Because of that he was never corrected & was taught to think women are a certain way. I don’t blame him for it #HazbinHotelAlastor

As for what Viv said sure Alastor started the fight but I also noticed how every time Charlie asks if Alastor’s ok she gets pushed aside and doesn’t get to him and she finally had the opportunity to do so it was focused on Emily which is understandable.But she could’ve asked from there if he was ok😅

It makes sense for Alastor to trust women more since he’s been said to be a mama’s boy and probably didn’t grow up with any suspicions towards women. For the men he did interact were rude & disrespectful which makes his relationship with Vox even more tragic😭 #HazbinHotelAlastor
