Great! And unsuprisingly most technology is still relevant. And the old code still on the internet: github.com/ricardofullt... metacpan.org/dist/SAP-BC-... More RFC content: qmacro.org/blog/posts/2... And flickr images are also still up! @qmacro.org already as handsome back then as he is today

New Blog Post: Calling ABAP function modules from Node.js or SAP CAP should not require the SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK. That is why I built open-rfc: an open-source, dependency-free client that also works on SAP BTP through Cloud Connector. Read here: blog.zeis.de/posts/2026-0...

Lets celebrate 30 years of TechEd with one long night of -*check notes* - four hours. 🤦 For an event like this and at this ticket price, that's embarrassing. It was the same last year. DSAG Parties are way better and *longer*.

The official SAP MCP Server Code is already in Eclipse ADT Server. I was able to activate it with AI. Was hoping for few more Tools but good thing is you can extend the MCP Server with your own tools. So i added for example the ARC-1 Search tool 😀

Can you be bit more specific? I only used Joule in Joule Studio in the test environment, only used Sonnet 4 as there are not frontier models available. Sometimes i struggeld to get a answer from joule, but not enough to from a opinion on use day2day, J4D is a different question

Gemini 3.1 Pro took the top spot on my ABAP LLM Benchmark. Google Flash 3.1 is now second. Difference in costs was 107€vs 8€. Luckily Google was so nice to sponsor the API costs. Benchmark Website: abap-llm-benchmark.marianzeis.de Github Repo: github.com/marianfoo/LL...

Is this the classical "make or buy" and now "let AI make and maintain it or buy"? Like people saying they can just generate a SAP competitor oblivious to the actual challenges creating a ERP/SaaS product?

130 3

Marian Zeis @marian.zeis.de · 26/02/2026

Yeah, ABAP-1 is not better in explaining ABAP Code either, what is it for then?

Are you also tired with all the low-effort and AI generated posts? I added a new bot the filters by a minimum of 9 kudos/likes. As soon as the posts reached 9 it will be posted (SAP posts need minimum 15 likes) Currently the bot publishes posts of the last year. bsky.app/profile/scnt...

Can we not just continue to use Joule in our company? If you do, the other company using $betterproduct$ will buy you, and throw Joule away, because it is rubbish.
