Phew 😰 The doomscrolling has been in full effect this month so how about something more peaceful. Hi #kidlitartpostcard, I’m Chris, a mixed Korean American illustrator. Color, texture, a kaleidoscope of different people and cultures, these are the things that keep me creating.

Evening sunlight bathes a busy lake shore full of people picnicking, jogging, and holding hands.

TODAY! Don't forget the "Art" in the #KidLitArtPostcard tag. I keep seeing posts with #KidLitPostcard (incorrect). Also, adding alt-text to your images will not only help the visually impaired & neurodivergent, but will also help provide context to your art AND help it get discovered.

It has been a while since I wanted to draw Cleopatra and for some strange reason I had never done it until now. I always felt inspired by Egyptian culture and art, specifically by Cleopatra's life. #egyptart #cleopatra #illustration #kidlit #history #historicalcharacter #bookcover #childrensbooks
