Happy that one of my PhD papers has made it into the light of day! We investigated the colonisation history of reindeer/caribou in the High Arctic islands of North America and the Barents Sea using genetic data, paleoclimate data, and published ice sheet reconstructions. doi.org/10.1002/ece3...

Reflecting on an enjoyable and stimulating workshop hosted by the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research in Longyearbyen this week. Coming away with a new appreciation of the importance of Arctic tundra biome in the earth system, and thinking of better ways to link field data with remote sensing🌱🛰️
